I have lowered my rating from a 5 star to a 1 star rating due to the poor service with their pharmacy delivery program. When I had a prescription refilled by phone this past week, I was told by the pharmacy clerk that I would have to call back again after the request has actually been filled in order to request the medication to be delivered. I have ordered this medication multiple times from HEB and I don't remember having to make a second call to get medication delivered.
Whether my memory has failed me or not, a customer shouldn't have to make two calls, especially when the HEB pharmacy is understaffed on their phones.
I called back today, Saturday, around 2:30 PM and I held for over a half hour only to have the call disconnected. I called back only to be told that the cutoff for delivery request was 1:00 PM and I will need to call back on Monday.
I have used CVS Pharmacy before and I never had this issue with delivery requests. HEB has convinced me that they don't want my business, and if they do, their systems are lagging behind the competition's in providing my pharmaceutical needs. HEB should just ask their competition on how to properly service pharmacy customers.
HEB does grocery very well. but they should stay out of the pharmacy business. I would recommend pharmacy customers use a company that is a dedicated pharmacy as their core business rather than a grocery store trying to provide "extra services" at the expense of their customer's time...
Read moreThought there was an email option on website and can't find that, so looks like I'm giving a shout out to an employee who went above and beyond what I've seen at any grocery store. His name is Frankie and he was working at this location around 5pm Friday February 1st. Being specific, because this guy deserves recognition. I was loading up my groceries into my vehicle and heard a young man's voice say, "Hey!" I turned around to see him running after an SUV with the back door open and groceries near the edge. The vehicle finally stopped at the stop sign at the end of the row, and I heard him say again, "Hey!" He cared about them possibly losing their groceries! He said, "Your door's open. Want me to close it?" and proceeded after apparently being told, "Yes." Then he comes running back to where the carts go and meets me to grab mine and stack it with the others he's already pushing toward the store. I had to get his name, because he clearly cared and put his best into his work. When I thought I couldn't be more impressed by his service to others, as I was driving away I caught him humbly let a customer cross in front of him even though he clearly had the right of way.
I rarely write reviews and prefer anonymous praise to employers in hopes they promote or at least invest further into a stand-out employee, but hopefully this gets to the right folks. Frankie, your genuine care shows and that's what's needed in leadership. Keep it up. You're...
Read moreI always Come to this store as it is the closest one to my house. im here maybe 3-5 times a week and almost every single time i have a terrible experience with one of the staff. Most notable was 2 days ago with an older white lady working the register next to the pharmacy. She was Extremely impatient and rude when i was trying to use my WIC card. she looked at ME like I was the one that was causing it to not work when we ALL know that their janky systems are the ones that make it difficult for customers. on top of that, as im struggling, and shes just staring at me throwing her hands up in the air, she goes “theres a long line behind you.” As if thats my problem? She Was very unprofessional and rude.
My other instance today was with their manager/general manager ? . i’m guessing that’s what he was as the employee who was serving me, referred to him as “big boss”. Bald tall white man.
i asked a simple question about a deal on my app and he didn’t even look my direction before just saying “no” it was very rude. To be honest, he made everyone around him extremely uncomfortable. customers and employees combined. he has a horrible aura and demeanor and is very disrespectful. it seems all he did was walk around the store and glare at everybody. managers should be approachable and Friendly.
