Every breakfast plate has potatoes. So if you can't eat potatoes for some reason, like me.... beware. The egg was on the salty side, but was really good with the cactus. You will need to ask for refills on drinks unless it's coffee. They don't offer. Appreciate how they offered corn or flour tortilla, giving a choice. It was a very nice atmosphere for my high school friend and I to have our 38th reunion visit. The restaurant owners and employees were very patient with us. My friend Jack from work suggested this place. I would say he has good taste. The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired. Trucks parked there blocked my view from pulling out and I almost had a horrible accident when leaving. To bad they don't have better parking spaces. Would be nice if the business next door would allow their customers...

Finally stopped by this little gem on my way to work and now it's my new go-to for breakfast tacos! They have a taco special, 3 tacos (no cheese, can add for extra) for $3.75 plus tax. This is fantastic because I had recently spent $9 on 3 breakfast tacos at another restaurant!

The flour tortillas are soft and fluffy and the tacos are packed! I really like their verde salsa, it's a medium hot with a creamy consistency.

I also have called in my order everytime and they have it ready within 10 minutes each time. They offer both Spanish and English when ordering over the phone and they have really great customer service always friendly and welcoming when I stop by in the morning!

I will definitely continue stopping by to pick up delicious...

You know in the film, Rataoutie when the critic gets a flash back to his childhood. This is what I felt here !! It's a real phenomenon. As a 2nd generation Mexican who moved to Austin four months ago from LA. I took my first bite and was reminded of my Mother and family's cooking and childhood food. I wanted to cry! A Homie bite! A local recommended this place! I love Austins food scene but this place is truly a gem. If you're looking for a true Mexican, authentic, cultural experience! Come here !! Ask about their Lunch special. And say Joey Ramos sent you here. Truly is El Secreto de Abuela! To top it off ...service was extremely fast. There was a lunch crowd here and they were still able to serve me...

The staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the migas rancheras. It came with potatoes and refried beans. The beans are vegetarian so that was nice. The migas are topped with some sort of yellow cheese that I was not a fan of, it was too thick. Overall the taste was fine I think there tortillas got too soggy because of the ranchero sauce. They needed to be fried a little bit longer. The potatoes were not good they were a bit cold. The beans were excellent. The coffee was great. They also gave me the option of a red or green sauce I chose the green sauce. It was nice and spicy but the taste was just ok. I will probably come back to try some other dishes they do have an extensive lunch and dinner menu.

I placed an order via Uber Eats. I ordered 3 different tacos just to try them out. The babacoa tacos were super fat and greasy. All the tacos were topped with cilantro and onions. This was not an issue for me due to I love these toppings. The tortilla soup was delicious but there wasn't any side toppings for it. I didn't get any limes, onions or cilantro with it. The side salad for the asada plate looked really sad. 1 tomatoe cut in half and a few slices of avocado laying on some old lettuce. The pastor tacos were slightly dry but other than that the rest of the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it.
