I go to this coffee shop occasionally whenever I’m in the neighborhood today I went in and asked for an iced oat milk latte with a LITTLE BIT of the Brown butter toffee and a pastry. The pastry was beyond delicious but when I received my coffee I felt as though there was not a little bit but a lot of the syrup. Of course by mistake I might have just gotten a drink that was too sweet so I went up and kindly asked for my regular order- an iced oat milk latte instead. approximately 45 seconds later I received my coffee. I try a sip of my just plain oat milk latte to find out that this was the most sour and fruity tasting espresso I’ve ever tasted in my life. The baristas I’ve had encounters with usually take their time making my coffee so this doesnt occur. Safe to say when ordering from certain baristas definitely ask for extra syrup to cover up the espresso taste. Overall I’ve had amazing experiences definitely come here....

This is the best coffee shop in East Austin! They recently had to relocate, and now serve customers in a beautifully refurbished airstream, parked on a spot that used to be a mechanic's shop. Walk inside to order, where you'll be greeted with classy decor, great tunes, and little table on one end if you want to take a seat.

They offer up some tasty, tasty drinks — I looooove their iced chai, and my husband says their espresso, made wth their own roast, is fantastic! — with an assortment of pastries, and breakfast tacos during the week (M-F), then a great little sandwich & salad menu on the weekends.

SUPER friendly barristas, plenty of outdoor seating!

We walk there every other morning or so. Definitely the best local coffee spot...

Was greeted with a very cold “what can I get you” when I had just walked up and was clearly still looking at the menu. When I asked if I could get a short iced latte like a cappuccino size I was then mansplained what a cappuccino was, like I get it I know what it is I just wanted it iced and not as much milk as a latte. He said ok then still gave me a HOT cappuccino. I had said iced three times. I left disappointed and then I went to take a sip and it poured out all over me because the lids don’t fit tightly (and there was zero foam to help hold the liquid). Warned my friend to check her lid so she did but hers also spilled all...

Reflecting on last month’s magical experience @Flores Market ATX under the Solar Eclipse⚰️💐🌒 On Oct. 14th, @CountrysideMemorialPark and I shared a glimpse of a living funeral & natural burial with our local community, leaving many with deep insights, hearts stirred and minds a little more enlightened. The key takeaways: 💫 It may seem morbid, but acknowledging the inevitable can actually guide us to live more authentically and help us understand that Life and death are intertwined. By facing the latter we can illuminate the path to a more intentional and loving existence. 📜 In a world where we plan for everything, why not plan intentionally for our end-of-life care? We all have preferences for our end-of-life medical and funeral care. Why wouldn’t you want to make your decisions clear? Whether it's a preference for medical interventions, natural burial, a traditional ceremony, or even a unique celebration, making a plan helps respect your choices and spares your loved ones from uncertainty. 🌟 Reflections from the coffin: “This unique experience prompted me to really think about what I want to leave behind, it reminded me of my dreams and desires, and how much I don’t want to take living for granted. I want to set an example and I want to know how to take care of my family if I need to.” Can contemplating our mortality lead us to live more intentional lives? To be more generous, loving, patient, grateful, brave, authentic? If so, why aren't we exploring this further? Now, more than ever is the time to embody those qualities. 🪦 Let’s confront those big feelings together. Ready to explore your journey, plan intentionally, or navigate the complexities of loss? Reach out, Follow us to learn more, stay tuned on upcoming workshops and events💜 and if you’re in the Central Texas area - take a trip down to La Vernia, TX to have a picnic @CountrysideMemorialPark and connect with the beauty of natural burial 🫶 #LifeReflections #PaleHearse #CountrysideMemorialPark #floresmarketatx #endoflifechoices #livingfuneral #homefuneralalliance #atx #homesteadmama #communitydeathcare #lifeanddeath #higherpurpose
