Our server was Malika and she was AMAZING!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Honey Pig, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Our server, Malika, deserves special recognition for her exceptional service. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. As first-time visitors, we greatly appreciated her friendly and helpful nature. Malika took the time to explain the menu, offered insightful recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening.

One of the highlights of our evening was the opportunity to watch our food being cooked right in front of us. The interactive aspect of Korean BBQ is fascinating, and Honey Pig executed it flawlessly. The sight and aroma of the sizzling meat created an immersive dining experience that left us eagerly anticipating each bite.

Honey Pig is truly a versatile dining destination. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night or a fun group dinner, this restaurant has you covered. The cozy atmosphere creates an intimate setting for couples, while the communal grill tables make it perfect for larger gatherings. It's an ideal place to share good times and delicious food with loved ones.

Speaking of the food, the Korean BBQ at Honey Pig is simply mouthwatering. The flavors are rich, authentic, and undeniably satisfying. The portions are also impressively generous, ensuring that you'll have plenty to enjoy. We even had leftovers, which we gladly took home and savored the next day for lunch. To our delight, the food reheated beautifully, maintaining its original taste and quality.

Overall, I highly recommend Honey Pig to anyone in search of a fantastic Korean BBQ experience. The combination of delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere make it an absolute gem. And with servers like Malika who go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is exceptional, you can't go wrong. Make sure to visit this remarkable restaurant for an unforgettable meal that will leave you eager to return.

Thank you Malika.

One thing I would change is only a few tables have chairs with backs, while the rest are stools with no backs. I would have chair backs at every seat...

Review of 7/6/2022: since this week has been the soft opening for this restaurant, the following review is presented:

To outline the current status of the restaurant as-is as well as To offer some objective recommendations that will improve the overall experience of the restaurant

Interior Arrangement: Tables are well spaced to allow for various group sizes as well as individual space. BBQ exhaust pipe is stationed at each respective table, with the ability to lower/raise the height of the smoke cover as needed. Table numbers are clearly labeled on one side of each exhaust pipe, and there is a call bell on each table to press if you need a server at your table.

However, the call bell system was ineffective. Order of bell rang is not preserved, so the staff did not address tables in the correct order. The electronic number panel at the back of the restaurant only shows the last table that has pressed the call bell. For now, it was more effective to politely raise your hand and make eye contact with a staff member (please keep it respectful).

Phone system at host booth isn't working. You have to wait in person for your name to get called.

Price and Quality: Bit on the upper end for a Korean BBQ restaurant, but this is expected for a Korean restaurant in a richer part of Austin. Decent quality meat for the price. Very tasty and fresh. No liquor license yet, so BYOB cork fee is $10/ bottle.

Service: The area that has the most room for improvement. Service is a bit spotty due to: Restaurant is new, so entire staff is still working on acclimating to Cedar Park's dining traffic. Inconsistency in training and execution. Some servers are good at initially checking in the customers (getting drink orders, bringing out side dishes), but then fail to follow up for the rest of the night. Our particular experience, we had additional servers step in to provide the additional orders that we placed. We also ordered one order of cold buckwheat noodles and corn cheese, but they didn't come out at all. Fortunately, they were able to remove those items from our final bill.

Overall, this experience was relatively neutral on our initial visit, but I am optimistic on a better experience next time once they fix their...

Not even remotely happy with my experience. #1 The girl who seated us had airpods in while “greeting” now i’m not sure when this became appropriate but it is highly unprofessional and makes the guests uncomfortable from the get go.

#2 Seated and given menus and after ordering a bunch of side dishes come out with no explanation and the grill is turned on. Also not asked if we wanted anything to drink.

#3 Meat is brought out and immediately put on the grill with no question as to what we would like on the grill or if we wanted to do it ourselves. Again, server walks away without a word. Once we take the meat off to eat another person comes to put more on (not our server). Some time goes by and we still don’t have water so we have to ring a button that calls the server to ask for water.

#4 As we eat we had not one but THREE people come over to flip our meat around with no words exchanged and then walked away. Why?! I don’t get it, makes you feel like you have to eat faster and get out quick. Not once were we asked if everything was okay and not once did we ask anyone to come over and touch the food.

#5 My biggest issue with this establishment is the noise!! TVs have music on full blast, people are talking very loud in the kitchen and dining area, and there was loud hispanic music being blared in the kitchen which we happened to be seated right next to. I’m hispanic and enjoy the music in appropriate settings, but not on my three year anniversary on a Monday night while i’m trying to enjoy dinner.

#6 If the service wasn’t so annoyingly bad I may not be here complaining about the establishment so much but everything was a bad experience. The grill was inconveniently placed and hot oil kept splashing my boyfriend and I. We do Korean BBQ. a lot on Austin and have never had this experience. All the metal dishes on the table were hot to touch because the table was so small and everything got too close to the grill which obviously was not pleasant.

Will not be coming back to this establishment and regret the $104 we spent on this underwhelming, under seasoned,...
