Amazing. Been looking for fried pork cutlet so was excited to try this place. Not disappointed! I had to take it to go so by the time I got home it was not fresh and yet still tasted amazing. Can only imagine what dining in would taste like. My only gripe is maybe the price is about a dollar or two higher than I feel it should be. I felt like I could have gotten a little more rice and pickled radish (cabbage?) Maybe I got less since it was to go because the way these were packaged they def packed all they could in. But it is what it is. Miso soup was amazing! The mac salad and jalapenos were new sides for me in regards to this dish and how other places serve it and they were great additions! Also ordered mac and cheese for my 2 yr old and she loved it! (And maybe I stole a few bites cause I liked it too) Despite the price I'm still giving 5 stars cause even if I don't come here often I know that, if I want pork cutlet, this is the...

Ordered the Texas Size katsu today. For myself to eat. That is 1 person with 1 US bred, Asian sized stomach.

There were no indication in the menu and its photo that this dish lives up to its name. How does one person eat all this???

I was indeed hungry but I'm also not a bear. In hindsight, I would had gotten a regular sized meal with a thicker cut of protein instead. I can see how this could be a shared meal and a heck of a deal in comparison though the amount of rice for this much meat is a bit off.

It's also thin like a schnitzel and the sauce was a tad fruitier than a Japanese katsu sauce. The amount of stares and wonder it brought to others was worth it. Ate a fifth of it and took...

I always wanted to try the king sized Texas katsu, so I got it to share with a friend. When I went up to get it, I was pleasantly surprised that there were actually two giant katsus waiting for us. Amongst the two of us and two others who took some as well, we only finished one katsu. They blew me away with the quantity. Now for the quality part. The curry sauce is pretty necessary to have since katsu in general needs a bit of sauce. It felt more like gravy so that was interesting. The rice, slaw, and mac were forgettable.

I think I’d come back for this again but share it amongst four people while they bring some...

The food is some of my favorite in Austin. The pork katsu is so tender. I normally don’t eat left overs because I think they taste gross with the fridge taste, but they give so much food for the price you’re bound to have left overs. I put mine in the air fryer and it’s still just as delicious as when I first got it. I cannot begin to tell you how good this place is. This place is a must try. As a chef , I appreciate the amount of consideration in the plating, it’s absolutely beautiful.
