I am making this review because that lady was highly rude and unprofessional and she didn’t care at all…
I will never come here again in my lifetime.
So I go into H mart today and I see this bakery that has some pastries and i decided I’d get a couple of pastries. I grabbed 4 things One looked so good I just grabbed it. (Picture below) it’d strawberries in the middle of the pastry and cream with powdered sugar it looks like on top. After I ate my food from another place I decided to try that pastry. I open it to see what exactly was in the middle. I bite into it and I’m thinking oh that had crunch weird I don’t remember seeing anything crunchy on it so I look on the outside and I see like a seed on one part and I say to myself oh if the bread made with seeds? I pick apart of the bread off to if it was baked into the bread no seeds so I look on the where the powdered sugar is I start picking at it. I picked at it three times and the third I found some a little harder. I smell it and it is a nut. So I walk back up to the bakery and this shorter not too short Asian woman with a short hair cut her hair was like a light brown reddish hair dye. She is also older I didn’t catch her name but I bet if I asked she wouldn’t have given me her name anyway. I grabbed the same pastry and brought it up to the counter. I wasn’t rude I was calm I didn’t have a tone of attitude and I asked “does this contain nuts?” She says “no” I said “this one right here?” And held it up She said “oh this one yeah it has a peanuts sprinkled on top of the crust” I say “ ohhh would you mind if I asked you to suggest to contains peanuts or made with peanuts sticker on to the bag the pastry is in?” She says “ it does say it contains nuts!” Comes from around the counter walls over and grabs this tiny card the small writing starts reading it over and goes “see look it says it right here!” And puts it back I said “okay I was just wondering if yall could add stickers on to the pastry package because…) She interrupts “ we don’t have the money to add stickers it’s too expensive! We aren’t doing that.” I said “could you maybe see because customers like me we just look at the treats that card is so small I honestly didn’t see it and I am allergic to nuts and it doesn’t look like nuts are on it…
She interrupted me again and says “it’s not my fault you didn’t ask.” And then walks back behind the counter.
I said “I’m not blaming you I’m just asking as a customer who just bought from this store who is allergic to nuts that on the packages you can add a sticker that lets people know it contains nuts because most people are looking at the display of pastries you have and you all have these small cards that yes have information but most people that walk up either don’t realize that it’s there or they are just looking at the pastries. And what you said earlier ma’am was very rude.” Then I turned to the girl that checked me out up front and said she is very rude and I don’t think it’s too hard to put a sticker on and I left.
I called cause I wanted to speak to a manager and the mean and rude older lady answered the phone I asked if I could speak with a manager and she said that the manager isn’t here I said oh ok thanks when will.. she hung up the phone
I called back and she answered again I said before you hung up on me I was trying to ask you when will you manager be in she said I already told our manager isn’t here I said I asked when when will your manager be in she goes why?? I said because I’m a customer trying to speak to a manager. So when will you manager be in and she said Friday. I said okay what is your manager name so I know. She said I’m not gonna tell you that you can come in and ask for a manager then and then...
Read moreHorrible customer service. The store was not busy, three ladies saw me that I was waiting in front of cake display to get a help but I was invisible for them. One was busy for restocking bread, another was just standing on the cash register(she had eye contacts with me, and when I tried to ask for help, she turned around), the other was busy to have a chatting with her church friend. About 5mins later, one of them finally asked me if I need a help so I asked her if there are other cake designs and she said everything is similar. And she went back to her friend, busy chatting again. I couldn't wait any longer, so I gave her an eye contact and told her I need help. I said "Can I order this..." Before I finish the sentence, she went behind of the cake stand and tried to pack the cake that I pointed. So I stopped her and asked her if I can order a cake for Sunday and she was like, "What?? What do you want?? You cannot choose a design. Everything's gonna be similar." And she turned around. I just left the store because I did not want to spend my money in this store and I realized that they did not want to help. Well, I wanted to order a cake for this Sunday with a writing on a chocolate plate but they were too busy for restocking, standing on the register while there were no customer and chatting with friend. Now I'm curious if they are not taking cake...
Read moreI am absolutely appalled by the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff at this establishment, especially the woman who I dealt with. This is the third time I’ve experienced this, and it keeps getting worse. They stop serving drinks well before their stated cutoff time of 7:30 PM, and when I decided to call ahead to avoid the usual hassle, I was met with hostility and condescension.
When I called to place an order, she rudely argued with me, saying, “We can’t take your payment, and we don’t do that.” I calmly responded that I would pay in person, but she continued to be dismissive and unreasonably rude throughout the conversation. She acted as if I’m dishonest and wouldn’t show up to pay. I only called in advance because they’ve denied me drink service multiple times before this supposed 7:30 cutoff, even when I arrived well before then. They claim their machines are cleaned and shut-down.
It’s one thing to have unclear policies or inconsistent service, but it’s entirely unacceptable to treat customers with such disrespect. If they can’t maintain basic professionalism or follow their own posted hours, they shouldn’t be in business.
This was the last straw for me—save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that values its customers and hires staff who know how to treat people...
