We stopped by Austin to visit the SPAM Museum and went to this restaurant for SPAM mushubi. When I first walked inside, I thought I had walked into a crime scene because there were plastic sheets hanging everywhere. In retrospect, I appreciate the effort to not spread cooties. Server could be friendlier. Mushubi could use a sprinkle of seasoning, perhaps maggi.

Stopped here on a road trip, very speedy service and the cashier was nice. I ordered mushroom chicken and she asked if I wanted the one that was on display or if I wanted to wait a couple minutes to get some fresh.

Amazing sushi place came all the way from Arizona just to try it. The outside of the place is spectacular

I'll admit it: I was initially skeptical of getting sushi in lil old Austin. But I was pleasantly surprised! We got the Washington roll, Spider roll, and Veggie roll. The Washington was DELICIOUS! My favorite for sure. The Veggie was interesting in that it had seaweed in it (like how you would get in a seaweed salad). I'd never had seaweed IN my sushi before so I was excited to try it, and I was not disappointed. The Spider roll was also very tasty.

It's also extremely affordable here. The sushi rolls range from $4-$10 for the fanciest, and if you want to get non-sushi stuff, which my mom says is delicious, you can get enough food for two...

I ordered on DoorDash with special instructions to not include my allergen. When my dasher asked to confirm my allergen was not in the food they were told it is and that they didn't care if I was allergic I shouldn't order that food. Very disappointed in the relationship so far.

As to the food I could eat, The portions are generous the sashimi is thick and fresh and juicy. And there is plenty on the menu I am not allergic to. I guess I'm spoiled by other restaurants that are willing to not include an ingredient in a handmade item. (Seriously just...

The Bigger Plate shows as 3 entrees with your side in a separate container. Not even close! They fill the container with your rice or lo mein then put a little entree on top. I ordered the Bigger Plate, take out, with japan teriyaki chicken, Angus steak, and mushroom chicken, side of lo Men. PLENTY of lo mein in the Styrofoam container, 3 pieces of Angus steak and a ton of onions, tons of mushrooms and a few pieces of chicken, all of it very oily. Not impressed. I think they just filled my container from the buffet but I...
