Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Austin

At this location, there is a woman that always answers the phone that is incredibly rude! 1st time I talked to her it was because I never received my order, she was rude about it like it was somehow my fault, and it took two months for the money for the order to go back on my card. The 2nd time, I called because we got the wrong order delivered, and she said she couldn’t find my original order, that we never ordered. I told her ( very calmly, I might add) that the money came off my card, and the web site gave us an order number, which she said she couldn’t enter into the computer to check, and told me to ‘calm down!’, when I wasn’t even raising my voice. Eventually she found my order ( so I wasn’t lying?? No apology, of coarse) and that all she could do was remake it, but could I come get it?? Uh, no. Already paid a delivery fee, and a tip for the driver, and have two small children and my husband wasn’t home yet! She was extremely annoyed at this, and didn’t try to hide it! One of my family members has also had customer service issues with this location as well. She never says her name, so I can’t identify her, but she has a very distinct voice. I love Jimmy John’s, but this location and the location on Anderson up north have terrible customer service, makes me think JJ’s doesn’t care about...

One employee was mopping while there were customers still. Put a caution sign directly behind a lady who wasn't aware of it. Seemed to be stacking chairs when they are still open for another 3 hours. Threw attitude when I walked through his mopped floor to fill my soda and pickup my order.I wouldn't be as upset about the mop, but he abruptly stopped and left the bucket out with us customers. Immediately he walked behind the counter, putting stickers on his face and make two female coworkers very uncomfortable. Saw him take his hat off and shake his hair around the ingredients and toppings. Everyone else seemed to actually be working except for him. Tall skinny white kid was wearing blue cutoff shorts, grey tennis shoes a backwards hat and glasses. Had to change the service from 5 to 1 star. The person putting up ready sandwiches says nothing and started acting rude when I started looking for mine. When mine was finally ready he just stared at me like I was stupid. This place is terrible. I ordered the spicy east coast italian sub w/ no mayo. Not only did they drown it in mayo, but they also forgot the cherry peppers, which is literally the only reason people order that sandwich and pay extra for it. Them screwing up my sandwich wasn't the most concerning part, however. When I tried to leave, the door was locked, and the methhead cashier had to unlock it w/ a key to let me out, which is not only illegal but also extremely dangerous. It's against fire code. There were like 6 people inside eating at the time also. God forbid there's a fire, and all those people perish because some dweeb wants to close an hour earlier than they're supposed to (it was 8:50 and they close at 10). Needless to say, I'll never be back here. I guess I should've read the other reviews before wasting my hard-earned money. What a mess....
