I had a terrible experience tonight when I stopped in for the smoothie of the dayāa drink Iāve had hundreds of times over the past 15 years. They have always been consistent, but tonight was anything but.
It took them forever to make, and when I finally got it, it was completely flavorless. I brought it back right away, but the cashier had no idea how to fix it, and asked me what I wanted them to add to make it taste better.
I noticed they were using a pitcher of premade smoothieāroom-temperature and watered downāblending it with frozen bananas to make the final product. Yikes. At that point, I asked if I could just get something else, but the replacement was just as bad.
The kitchen staff seemed new, and while I understand thereās a learning curve, customer service makes all the difference in situations like this. Unfortunately, they didnāt speak to me or even look at me the entire time.
To top it off, they made me wait while they prepared three other drinks before replacing mine, so I was stuck there for over 30 minutes.
Overall, a really bad experienceāneither smoothie...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location just opened and depending on when you go or who you deal with, it can either be great or a complete flop. The first time I went I ordered just some simple cold pressed juice and it was pretty good. The service was great and they seemed friendly. Now, the second time I went was a different story. I got my favorite smoothie ( paradise found) and it was super bland and kinda tasted like nothing, even though it has super flavorful ingredients. The service was also less than inviting. The lady ( who I believe was the manager) was super dry, didn't welcome us in, and seemed like she was not excited to be there. Maybe that's why the smoothie tasted so bad, because when she was present the other employees seemed like they had no personality. Next time I went, at night, everybody was happy, music was good, and the smoothie was great. How the store operates starts at the top, and it seems like the top here is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJuiceland is an Austin staple. Itās a shame this new location has such unhappy employees. Not a single smiling face ever in the building and today it was actually worse, they say thank you and look at the ground or are looking away already into the next task. Both the cashier and the guy making drinks looked tired and like they were having a bad day. The attitude from the blonde cashier was just not necessary and not how I wanted to start my day. I arrived to up my online order. I was disappointed that I had ordered a small instead of a large because I thought I ordered a large so I said damn I guess Iāll have to get a second one that seems like a waste of materials (cup/straw)⦠ugh Iām sorry can I have another one? And she was so off put and acted like I was annoying her by ordering a second drink.
This is the third of 5-6 times Iāve been to this new location and have been met with seemingly...
