Located near Highland Collective, this coffee shop is truly the most adorable little coffee truck. The owners (white guy/Japanese woman sorry didn’t grab their names) who runs this truck are so sweet and so kind. They have an outside play area with a playscape for kids with picnic tables that are shared with two other food trailers and it’s nice they also have some tables next to their space as well. It’s also shaded which is nice and they have electric fans that are running all over. Parking is easy and free as you can park in Highland Collective parking lot which is right next door. To find the truck it’s off Airport Blvd and you will see it behind a grey chain linked fence. Drink wise I got their seasonal drink which was mango matcha drink with oatmilk was absolutely delicious - the mango was fresh and the matcha was great, not chalky at all and great flavor. The barista had made a little too much matcha and gave me the extra matcha which was sweet. My husband got the Miso Piloncillo and liked it as well. I appreciate the drink isn’t too sweet at all. For their hours as of 6/16/25 Yelp is incorrect. It is Wednesday - Friday 9 AM - 3 PM and Saturday/Sunday 8 AM - 3 PM (subject to change) but that’s what they told me. We went on a Sunday and it was great! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back to try their banana drink!

What a unique gem! A Japanese-themed mobile coffee shop that operates out of a Honda Acty kei van! The concept is absolutely delightful, and it truly feels like a little slice of Japan on wheels. The van itself is adorable, with its retro design and vibrant colors. A perfect mix of nostalgia and novelty; it instantly caught my eye as I pulled up. The coffee is top-notch, with a perfect balance of flavors. Whether you’re a fan of a classic espresso, or looking to try a unique offering with a Japanese twist. I had the Umami Mocha with a miso sugar cookie, and both were phenomenal. The owner, Pat, is very knowledgeable about not only coffee, but Japanese culture as well. He taught me a few phrases I can use on my next trip to Japan! You can really tell he puts love into every cup, and his attention to detail is evident in every aspect. He even had a heater out to keep people warm during the first cold snap of the year. If you’re looking for a memorable coffee experience with a fun twist of Japanese charm, I highly recommend checking it out.

I have been going to this place since it was opened. I have tried coffee from all over the world, and I have to say this is hands down, the best coffee shop in all of Austin TX and some of the best coffee I have had in my life. All in a cute little kei van. Many of the drinks are inspired by Asian flavors. Kyoko serves matcha, coffee, and other seasonal and specialty drinks. I highly recommend dreams of ube, matcha latte, and the miso piloncillo which is a show stopper. None of the drinks are excessively sugary, and they all have very complex and deep flavors. It is not too rich or overwhelming either. Just right! Patrick is extremely talented and creative when it comes to making coffee and matcha. He goes out of his way source high quality beans and matcha. Higher quality than your average coffee shop. He is extremely knowledgeable as well and happily explains the menu items in detail. I have to say, this might be Austin's cutest coffee, but it's also Austin's best coffee.
