I thought taking art history would be fun but I don't recommend it in the summer. One week my professor gave us over 8 videos on Egypt and another chapter of videos to watch. This week she gave a 500 word essay and a 1200 essay and one week to write it. The faculty claims the amount of work is.tylical for college!! I regret taking art history in the summer now and am probably going to drop it. This college had given me more help than any college with there job program. I took the job class which was the best one I've ever taken for a job class even though I'm a serious worker. I felt unmotivated to even want to write a cover letter and this helped a ton!! I even appled to jobs and had given up!! I also got a job coach and can get appointments with her. I've also met with a career coucnelor. Even if my classes did not workout this summer I really hope I can keep going here. I'll probably have to try a different art history teacher mine doesn't seem to have realistic expectations and I wonder if she wants the person to pass the class!! I was actually going to try and take notes on the videos and there are so many I cant even do that!! As an adult tho it has helped me a lot and I hope to be able to keep taking classes im trying to change careers from catering and it has been...

Astonishingly incompetent organization. I’ve now spent 6 weeks trying to enroll. My calls and emails don’t get returned. I just need very basic information but can’t get it from anyone on staff. Today’s journey: I’m looking at the catalog, there’s a number on the cover, I call it. The woman who answers can’t answer my question, so she transfers me. It goes directly to voicemail. I call back - this time she finds a direct number and transfers me. It goes to a voice menu that instructs me to call a different number. I call that number. It’s another voice menu that tells me to hold. I hold 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I’m suddenly disconnected. I call back - it says “press 1 to leave a message”. I press 1 - immediately disconnected. I call the original number again - it goes to voicemail. And on and on it goes.

How on earth would you trust an organization this incompetent to teach you anything of value? They can’t even handle the basics of answering a phone and fielding new...

Currently taking a summer class as a transient student Highland campus to save money. It's very modern and clean, and centrally located.

The only negative that I have encountered here is the staff. For example, I was rudely confronted by one of the librarians for eating pretzels! Never has this happened to me at any of the UT libraries. Seriously, this guy was a real jerk! Not surprisingly, his library was...
