La serenata Seafood nice place south of Austin. The restaurant is known for its fresh seafood dishes and vibrant atmosphere. Located just a short drive from downtown Austin, La Serenata Seafood is a popular spot for both locals and tourists looking for a delicious meal. The menu at La Serenata Seafood features a variety of seafood options, including shrimp, fish, and crab. Some of the most popular dishes include the seafood platter, which comes with a mix of grilled shrimp, fish, and crab legs, as well as the seafood pasta, which is a delicious mix of shrimp, scallops, and clams in a creamy sauce. In addition to its delicious food, La Serenata Seafood also offers a full bar with a wide selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. The restaurant's outdoor patio is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal on a sunny day, and the friendly staff is always ready to make recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is top-notch. Whether you're looking for a casual meal with friends or a special dinner with a loved one, La Serenata Seafood is the perfect choice for seafood lovers in the Austin area. Be sure to make a reservation, as this popular spot can fill up quickly, especially on weekends

This is the old Whataburger location on Oltorf. They closed the entrance where the drive thru entrance was. I thought that was silly as it made me go out of my way & turn around to the only entrance on Oltorf. I sat at a table and had to wait for service even though the place was empty. They finally asked me what I wanted to drink. After several minutes I had to request chips and salsa. Yes, they do charge for them. I ordered the chicken enchilada plate with rice and beans. The enchiladas were very good. The watermelon drink was also good. I did find the rice and beans to be very bland. No flavor at all. Even the red & green salsas that came with the chips were watered down and had little flavor. Fortunately, they do have a wide assortment of hot sauces. I made great use of them. I atmosphere did seem nice. Looks like a nice place to have a drink. However, I paid $26 for my plate of enchiladas, chips, and a drink. In my opinion, that's too much. Especially considering the fact that half the plate had no flavor. Service was poor as well. I will not be a repeat customer.

La SeaReinita is a hip new seafood place that brings Mexican seafood to southeast Austin. The servers were friendly and made sure we didn't need anything throughout the meal. You're served a shot of a really tasty caldo de camaron when you sit down. I could honestly eat an entire bowl of the stuff. We split the Botana del Callo Calichi (think a multi-seafood ceviche) and the Seareinas Tostada Trio. The seafood tasted really fresh and the flavors packed a great punch. Our mouths were tingling as we neared the end of our meal, so be prepared for some spiciness. The octopus in the botana was super tender which is always a worry when trying it at new places. My favorite of the tostadas was the aguachile verde. Delicious! This isn't the cheapest place, just a warning. For our two dishes and two drinks, we spent about $50 each after tip. However, I would love to come back and try more items based on the service and quality of the food.
