We always have a wonderful experience when we visit Lazeez Cafe. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is always clean and well kept. We love that we can see the cook and the food being prepared fresh in the back, which is a huge plus. We usually order the Greek salad and add meat to stay low carb. This time, we tried the beef gyro and chicken (I think chicken shawarma meat) mixed on the salad. The meat is tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly. My husband likes the gyro meat best and says it has the most flavor paired with his salad. We've also had the chicken shish tawook in the past, and it was also delicious. This is my favorite meat to order on my salad! However, it takes a little longer to cook, so be prepared to wait a little while longer if you order it. Also, they have a couple of salad "dressing" options (all of which we like), so be sure to ask what they have available to try! We have had the fried cauliflower in the past as well. If you like cauliflower, this is a must try! It is seriously so yummy. It's deep fried and paired with a delicious sauce. Overall, my husband and I both highly reommend you try Lazeez Cafe out. The food is really good and the service is excellent. Just be prepared to wait a little longer for your food, as everything is made to order. This isn't "fast food" but it's also not a traditional dine in restaurant with service, so do keep that in mind when you visit.

Lunch at Lazeez after visiting Lake Travis. It was nearish to the Oasis that we thought it’d be worth stopping by. This place is really average, not bad but also not that great. Paid $12 for the gyro plate and $12 for the Arabic chicken shawarma plate. The gyro plate was better than the shawarma plate. The shawarma was drowned in garlic paste, and there were barely any pieces of chicken. Also the vegetables that came with it were really bitter and unappetizing. The gyro plate was really average, I wouldn’t find myself craving it from here but it’s a solid meat and rice combo. The hummus that came with it was actually yummy, but their pita bread was thin and dry. I think $12 for either of these plates is a lot especially given the amount of food but it’s better than other things in the area. Lentil soup ($4) was good. Will mention they have a variety of vegan options!

This is a straightforward, no-frills, Mediterranean (Syrian) restaurant, with a focus on gyro and gyro plates. The menu reflects this simplicity and directness, as does the interior. The food is pretty great, especially since they have managed to balance the sauce, meat, vegetables and pita such that it is not greasy, the sauce is not runny, the vegetables are fresh and the meat remains moist. The feta cheese sauce in the gyro is a little heavy and lands more on the "cheese" side. The service is behind the counter and friendly - but that is all, as the customer is expected to do the rest. In fact - therein lies the main weakness of this establishment: it FEELS like a direct descendant of a food truck - replete with a food truck service experience.

I hate to give this place one star because this place Was like my “go to “ to have my fav food, I loved their food initially, its always fresh! But they messed up my order four times in a row now! Im so frustrated as i write this review! Heres the recap I would always call them ahead before pickup , cos its a 30 minutes drive for me to get to the restaurant, and I would still wait for 20 mins for my food to be ready, they always get my order wrong and never apologetic about it!! Very bad customer service to begin with! and I was so happy after they started their online ordering, cos i thought it’ll make things easier for them, but NO it didnt! I went to pick up order last week, and they said i never ordered!! I showed them my email receipt and then they started preparing the food, I ordered for kofta kebab, but i got something else on my plate.. im super frustrated with their poor service was never rude to them eventhough They messed this up multiple times now! I asked them to give me extra dips, and they give me only one on the side! I dont understand why the owners have to be unpleasant when the customers are nice to you even when you make mistakes, i dont know why you have run a...

If you like Mediterranean food you must try Lazeez Cafe. They put Zoe’s and similar restaurants to shame...there’s just no contest. It’s like comparing a private jet to a broken down kick scooter.

Lazee Cafe is family run, with everything homemade and incredibly delicious!!! I don’t even care for baclava, but tried a piece since it was homemade and it was amazing. The prices are very reasonable with generous helpings. While I was inside waiting, 3 different regulars dropped in even though it was barely 4 pm on a Thursday.

We tried a variety of dishes and everything was outstanding! They make their own lentil soup (will try that next time). I find it impossible to get good baba ghanoush and theirs is fabulous! It was all I could do to stop myself from eating the entire tub with a spoon. I usually make my own hummus so rarely buy it, but Lazeez’s hummus is so much better than mine that I am putting away my food processor. I’m also typically disappointed in falafels, but not this time. These falafels were light, moist and flavorful. And the family is so sweet and helpful - 2 brothers & their 2 sisters were working when I stopped in.

This is my new favorite restaurant across...
