False advertising. They donât sell kolaches. They sell klobasniks (pigs in a blanket) and other stuffed pastries. Service is nonexistent. Major disappointment in every way.
Edit: as you can see they also double down on the cultural appropriation by giving a droll and inaccurate history lesson on the culture theyâre not a part of. As an actual Texan Czech who can make the real deal from scratch I can confirm that the dough they use is not authentic kolache dough. Itâs generic pigs in a blanket bisquick that you can find at any donut shop nationwide. I would say their misplaced sense of arrogance is unique but you can find that elsewhere on Congress as well. If you want to experience real Texan and Czech flavor look elsewhere. If you want an overpriced cup of joe and misinformation drop by. Oh and when I say service was non-existent I mean that literally. I waited to get coffee for 30 minutes and the counter was as empty as a ghost town. I didnât speak to a single soul who worked there. Another customer took pity and gave me a bite to try on the street so I could do a review. Iâm not shocked at the bold faced lie. It seems to be an occupational...

The service window opens onto the street, and on the other side, it connects to a hat shop, which adds to the quirky charm of the space. While there are no seating options inside, the setup creates a unique atmosphere, making it feel like an integrated part of the store.
They serve all the essential coffee drinks, and as the name suggests, their kolaches are a standout feature. We tried the spinach and cheese kolache, and it was excellentâgenerously filled, with a thin, well-balanced dough that doesnât overpower the filling. The pastry stays flat rather than puffing up, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to shine.
This place is perfect for a quick morning stopâgrab a solid cup of coffee, a kolache, and get on with your day. The convenience, quality, and unique setup make it a great find for those who appreciate a well-made...

They were offering a free drink on National Coffee Day (8-10 AM through InKind), so I thought it was the perfect time to give them a try. I ordered the Strawberry Fields, a coconut and strawberry iced matcha topped with dried strawberries. The strawberries added a nice touch of sweetness, though they got soggy pretty quickly and weren't great to eat.
The line wasn't too long, but drinks, especially the coffee one, seemed to take a bit longer to make. Luckily, my matcha came out faster than the orders before me. It looked like about a 12 oz cup. Flavor-wise, it was sweet and refreshing, but the strawberry notes definitely overpowered the matcha.
Overall, it was a nice pick-me-up when other spots nearby were closed, though I think I still prefer...
