It would've been a 5 star review, but on the day we went the location was closed. We don't know if it was lunch time or an off day, but we couldn't purchase any memorabilia from here. There were some really cool relics inside a other cool projects being worked inside. On the upside, we were able to take a few photographs of the Austin sized "post card" on the side of the building and that was cool! Overall, we were able to scratch off one of our bucket list items and locations. We will return on a day when the place is open for business and we will then make it a 5 Star review I'm sure.

Very cool retro and neon light art shop. Only open a few hours a day but I definitely recommend stopping in if the shop is open. They sell giant retro art pieces, between $2,000-$25,000, and retro themed apparel and accessories, between $10-$50. Make sure to not take photos of the art pieces they are selling as they really don’t like that. One of the most recognizable, if not most recognizable, Austin themed murals is on the outside of the shop - GREETINGS FROM AUSTIN.

One of the must see places in Austin, and a chance to get a photo in front of the Austin postcard on the side of the building. We went there when they were closed and the owner was very nice and let us in to see some truly great vintage signs and memorabilia. The area has an eclectic group of stores around it, including a cool vintage automotive shop. Not hard to find and definitely worth the time.

Roadhouse Relics is one of my favorite spots in Austin because it's so darn funky, quirky and Austin weird. The owner is a neon artist and the inside of the building is filled with dynamic art pieces. The building is also home to the iconic Austin mural which was recently restored. The mural is a favorite place for photos for tourists and locals alike. The space also hosts First Thursdays music events that are open to the public and I plan to catch one as soon...
