This place is very popular and seemingly for good reason although I'll leave some feedback for the drink I got. I ordered a melon pelas: - it as half or more coconut cream (or whatever the cream is) -- I think maybe I was supposed to mix it up but the guy didn't tell me and it didn't come with any utensil so I drank a bit before I kind of sloshed it around. It became a lot more balanced after that. Maybe a heads up on that or a slightly more balanced ratio? The pic attached is after I had already sipped some cream and you can see it's still mostly cream lol - for $8.50 after tip I would like a slightly larger portion? Like 20% bigger would be good. - also, there was a very long wait, and I got the feeling people ordering drinks were sharing a wait time with people ordering food, but I don't really know, I just know I was in line for like 20 minutes. That said, kudos for not making the drink overly sweet. Seems like everywhere in the US does that. I do love melon and agua fresca so having a place nearby that's working in that space is nice. I did end up enjoying it overall it was just a little bit of a puzzle and expensive. Would come back to try other things, thanks.

I had been hearing a lot about this coffee shop so I decided to drop by on a rainy day. They did not disappoint!! Although the menu is limited, it is a perfect example of quality over quantity - each thing they serve is perfected and crafted beautifully. We got some specialty items like the biscuit sandwich, masa pancakes, and the Atole cortado. The sandwich was rich and buttery, I’d like to try the masa biscuit on its own with some jam. The masa pancakes are a must order in my opinion, they are so fluffy and just melt in your mouth with the strawberries on top! The little strawberry syrup and whipped butter cups on the side (my guesses) were nice touches and you can tell how much thought they put into each element. The atole cortado was very unique and enjoyable, if you’re a coffee lover you should definitely give it a try. Overall, MSN is a wonderful curation of Mexican flavors that makes for a great experience! I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu items.

Fantastic little spot in East Austin! The food menu is small but mighty, highly recommend the chili Colorado burrito and masa Twinkie. Perfect balance of flavors and not super spicy. The drinks are fantastic as well! We did the 24 caret, a horchata cold brew, and atole cortado. All were fantastic, full of flavor and weren’t super sweet. This comes to the care they take making each drink and sourcing the right ingredients. Highly recommend this space but a few things to consider. They do have limited hours they are open and if you are showing up near that 3pm time they may run out of their food and some drinks. You really can’t go wrong with anything here but you should definitely factor being there earlier then later. Also, not a ton of seating here. We had no problem when we stopped by around 1pm but if busy you may be taking to go or finding a place along the fence to eat. Finally, parking is more neighborhood and street based, no parking on site. So just bare that in mind upon arrival.
