I really, really wanted to like this place. The food itself tastes pretty good. But for a place that advertises that it's allergy friendly, they do a terrible job. The ingredient bar was cross contaminated all over the place, it was a huge mess, they had zero awareness of keeping things tidy. I asked for new ingredients and they got fresh buckets, which was great, although it slowed down the whole line. When they put the "allergy friendly" pizza in the oven, there was no care taken to prevent cross contamination. Pizzas were flung in and out, touching each other, losing ingredients all over the place. When we noticed the pizza cutter, we asked about it and they told me they had special ones for the vegan pizzas, which was great. However, they mixed up our pizzas and used the wrong cutter. Kudos to the staff, they admitted their mistake and made another one, which probably took another 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, the other pizzas we ordered were just sitting there. They gave me a coupon for a free pizza for all the trouble. My teenage son was terrified to eat his "allergy friendly" pizza. Overall, the staff was kind and hard working; they were honest and decent people, I think just very badly trained when it came to allergy protocol and cleanliness in the kitchen. I hope the owners/managers take this to heart and make some changes because our allergy kid said he is "never going there again"....
Read moreI came in a little after 5 on Friday. The person taking my order was very nice and polite and made my pizza exactly how I wanted it. However, after I paid, we went to find a seat to wait. It was disgusting. All of the tables (ALL) were sticky and dirty, there was food on the tables and floors, it was gross. There was a family of 3 ahead of me and while I was waiting, their food was placed on the counter and no one called their name when it was done so it just sat there. They called my name and those pizzas were still sitting up on the counter so I told the customers their pizza was done and they werent too happy about having cold pizza. When it came time to get my pizza, I went to grab 2 plates (I ordered 2 pizzas) and she said Wait that one isnt for you. One was in a box (?) and one was not. I asked why one was in a box and she didnt know so I went to grab the pizza (in the box) and she said I'm not giving this to you if it's not yours. So I said it IS mine (it was what I had ordered)and she didnt want to let go so I had to forcefully take it from her hand! She was so rude. We ate outside because the inside was so dirty and sticky. It was gross. The pizza was ok. My sons wasn't as done as we asked for. I dont believe we will be coming back...
Read moreWe placed a large order for a birthday party with the assistant manager over the phone and she apparently wrote it down but never put it in the system (or couldn't... none of it was conveyed to us initially). We called morning of and spoke to an employee (not a manager) to confirm pick up time and they said they didn't know about it because it wasn't ordered online. I called back to complain and then had to go through the corporate line to place the order officially. Why wasn't this told to us in the beginning?
Anyways, picked up the pizza. All of the undersides of them were burnt black. Luckily, it was cold enough and children have low standards of pizza so they didn't notice. I feel like if you pay for something it should be cooked correctly or remade. They clearly slapped 6 pizzas together for us and didn't care if it was poor quality.
I've been to other MOD Pizzas and usually it's business as usual and the pizza is good. I'm a little shocked by our experience yesterday and hope it's not the norm. I can't say we will return. The whole situation was extremely...
