Me and a friend showed up from out of town to Austin for an event, and found Monk's Momo opened at 6. We showed up to the truck lot, where maybe 6 trucks were parked and the only one opened already was Monks, so points for punctuality on the owner's part! we had one of each momo, and they were all incredibly flavorful and fresh, especially the chilli momo! Read moreThis spot is seriously so amazing. The food was so well spiced and flavorful. We put in our order and the woman who took it was so sweet and friendly. When we got the food everyone in my group was taken back because the food was so good. It’s comforting, warm and flavorful. I suggest trying everything on the menu. We got the Jhol momo and the chili momo. The chili momo was the perfect amount of spice that didn’t burn your mouth for too long. Everything was so well balanced. We loved the food so much we put in a second order. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re visiting Austin. I’ll be coming back here the next time...
