Saturday night my fiancé and I walk in and in total about 13 people. Seems like our type of place. It’s clean, cocktail menu, not too loud, and bartender just chatting with a guy at the bar. Bartender makes eye contact with me as we walk up to the bar and turns back to her conversation. A few minutes pass I hand my fiancé my wallet and tell her I need to use the restroom to get me something off the cocktail list. I like to try new things and she usually takes a taste test. I wait in line and then use the restroom. When I come back I asked if the bartender help her yet. She then tells me the bartender asked how she was doing. Which she responded with I’m good and looks up because she was going to ask a question about a drink on the menu; to see the bartender already talking with that guy again. The bartenders were helpful and the place had a simple layout...

Best of all dogs are allowed inside on a hot summer day which pretty much makes this place a new favorite when I'm out with my Aussies and need a cool respite from Austin's continuous 100s summers. The bartender was super nice--that too left a lasting impression of what everyone likes over someone who's tired, cranky, or self-absorbed--really...
