Oh man, this is a hidden gem! There is road construction out front, but do not let that keep you from supporting this place. This is a local, family owned and operated restaurant. The service was incredible. The young woman, Leslie, that waited on my table was attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere here lets you step into a seaside fish tavern. It's rustic with an old charm . They do have music playing and a couple of TVs around the bar. That didn't bug me though. The food was delicious!! I would eat here 7 times a week if I could. I had the blackened snapper with some shrimp. I was surprised at how much flavor the snapper had. This is one of my top 7 best seafood places I've ever had. You need to eat here!

I wish I could say the food was good .. I wish I could say that. The first time trying and I had really high hopes! Sadly the crawfish po-boy didn't have much flavor, not enough crawfish either. My wife's pacific special was beyond bland, it had no flavor in any form, the shrimp were far less jumbo than you would imagine. The gralic bread was pretty much a cheap French bread with butter on it. Don't get me started on the shrimp diablo, what even was that?? Don't get me wrong I'm truly just being harsh because it was a huge disappointment, I wish the establishment the best but it needs some serious fixing. We won't be back sadly.

First time here. The gumbo was not as good as promised in the menu. I'd say a 4 on a scale 1/10. I started getting worried if the Blackened flounder would be good. Thankfully it was a semi spicy Cajun inspired rub and just the right amount of salt, the flounder was also perfectly cooked and flaky. The mushroom/shrimp rice was also surprisingly good. Verdict, fish is good, don't get the gumbo. Edit: Upon wanting to leave my waiter was distracted watching the game. He was nice enough to to ring me up in the end. I was not aware, but this is a bring your ticket to the register place. I may return here and try other menu items.

Well honestly I hate to be this person cause It is VERY hard for me not to be pleased at a restaurant because I’ve been in the restaurant business for 8+ yrs and understand but something needs to change at this one. Let me start off by saying they had a plastic tub of shrimp that was NOT on ice sitting on the bar (as in the bar people sit at and drink) this is a health issue all in it self and anyone that works for the health department would have shut it down at that first site, that should have been the first notion to skip out but I like to give everyone a chance. Secondly the waiter was a sweet lady but didn’t know English very well, our order came out mostly right but it was a struggle to make sure she understood what we wanted, when our food did come out everything was bland. No flavor anywhere to be found on anything not even the kids fries(like I got some old bay if they need it), & my blackened Fish that I ordered was only half cooked thro. The poor waiter seemed very tired and confused so I didn’t wanna bother her with that so I just didn’t say anything. It was definitely not a $100 meal but that’s what we paid for two kids and two adults plus an app. (Not complaining on price I’ll drop $100+ on GOOD food in a heart beat but this place just wasn’t that). This place has a lot of potential I feel like but it needs a turn around. I hope my review helps them see to correcting some of...

UNACCEPTABLY BAD FOOD & SERVICE

Stopped in for a quick lunch special at about 2 O'Clock, MISTAKE. Waiter was more concerned with the Golf on the TV than providing Quality Customer Srevice. Maybe six other tables in the restaurant and I wait over 20 Minutes? Apparently when I ordered Water to drink, the Waiter decided the Tip was going to be poor and gave up, began to ignore me. Gumbo tasted good but the Shrimp & Okra was mushy, not firm; Overcooked/ Leftovers? I couldn't eat it. The Fried Catfish looked good, but it too must have been old; it was mushy AND gooey, with no firmness or texture. Baked, Frozen crinkle cut french fries. ALL was INEDIBLE. When I told the Waiter the food was ROTTEN, he said everyone eats it, it's good. Well, EVERYONE does NOT eat it and it's NOT good. He said it was fresh. It may have been fresh a week or two ago, but not on the Monday I stopped in. You can clean the old food out your refrigerator and serve it to someone else, but it won't be me. Waste of time and money. Should have comped the bad food but refused, so I paid for NOTHING. NEVER AGAIN. Will be out of...

I had gotten sick in the morning after my neighbors went out there last night and I ordered fried clam and an oyster Po boy with the meal and the tarter sauce tasted like someone brought all the food reminents of fish they had and thought it was a good idea to bring it more flavors to taiste. Cross contaminants. The waitress didn't even speak English hardly and the manager was kicking the floor board after we had sat and had no replica of any sea memibrilia to see except the board of wooden fish together lookin like Shepard's Tone Hell down spiral. MUST SEE. They put garlic Texas toast on the oyster Po boy. They leave chips on top of the glass bin and have 4000 count box's out of crackers out to fill the table bins and they were all full to begin with. It takes one cracker to know that that was spoiled nasty non hand washed cooked bread small fried pieces with nicks in them and was just fried bread. Beer pitcher was to small. I've been to the Atlantic Ocean and The Gulf Coast and I was hoping for soft shell blue crab. But the...
