So, I need to preface this by saying I’ve had several lovely meals here, and I live nearby. the atmosphere is gorgeous and until today I haven’t had any issues with either the food or service which is why I felt compelled to write this review in the hopes that they can improve a few things. My partner and I got the seasonal special, a purple potato pizza, 1/2 off on happy hr, as well as drinks and an appetizer. While the flavors were on point, the potatoes on the pizza were really obviously undercooked (think crunchy, in a raw potato way). When we pointed this out, the staff manager was nice but suggested it was “supposed to be that way” which…I’m sorry but raw undercooked potatoes can’t possibly be intentional. I’ve also had the same pizza at Pecan Square off season (with regular potatoes) and everything at the time was tender and appropriately cooked. We let it go and they gave us a different pizza which was delicious. The real surprise came with our bill, when we were charged full price (not the happy hr 1/2 off pricing) for the replacement pizza. The bill read “did not like” as the reason for sending back the original. I have many people near and dear to me in the restaurant industry, and for upscale dining this is really not how to deal with a simple issue like undercooked food. Even a small gesture like comping a drink goes a long way if things just aren’t right, and nobody appreciates being charged extra for a chef’s mistake like undercooking. Still hoping to have a better experience in the future and I’ll add the waitstaff and bartenders were all very nice and...

4/1/24 We dined at around 7:30 P.M., and we enjoyed some very interesting food!

Our waiter was very nice and informative.

We got a bit intrigued by the salmon egg mayonnaise appetizer, so we ordered it. Although it was 'interesting' to see and try...we had no idea that it was prepared with salmon eggs on top of the devil egged concoction. The burst of salmon egg with the somewhat boiled egg...was not a favorable appetizer. We would NEVER suggest it. 1/10 (the one rating comes from the good mayo)

The fish meal on the menu was REALLY GOOD! The buttery sauce that is generously given on the plate the pan-seared fish was placed on top of really made this meal exceptional. The preparation of it was great. I wish there were more food on the plate, though (or that a good bread accompanied it). 10/10 RATING!

My dinner friend ordered the pork chops with the cabbage slice. I would rate that pretty low, though. The cabbage slice was grilled, and some of it was grilled too much to enjoy.

You MUST TRY THE BEET SALAD!!!! IT IS SOOOO DELICIOUS!!! 10/10 RATING!!

The cheese board for a dessert was great, too... The cheese selected and the jelly was delectable.

The tea that is used tastes really good.

The ART WORK in the restaurant is pretty and joyful to see! Our waiter allowed us to look at the book that was prepared on each artist that has art exhibited in the restaurant. You would enjoy reading about them IF you...

Visited Austin once again and came across this highly recommended hidden gem, lovely intimate ambiance.

The menu is truly creative, with mouthwatering seasonal flavors that did not disappoint!

We started with the PSC Old Fashioned, which was absolutely spot on—thank you! Here’s what we ordered: Adagio Salumeria Fiocco: Served with perfectly flavored figs. Ouefs Mayonnaise: The mayo had a perfect hint of garlic and was beautifully seasoned. Zucchini Fritti: My absolute favorite! The green mint dipping sauce was a delightful pairing. Butterscotch Squash: A standout dish—perfectly cooked and served with roasted fall nuts and butter. Truly heartwarming! Grilled Eggplant Salad: I have a weakness for eggplant, and this dish hit the spot. The peppers and light vinegar paired wonderfully with the delicious bread. Blistered Habanada Peppers: These were a perfect complement to everything. Oyster Mushroom Pizza: Wow! This was absolutely amazing—definitely a must-try! Sausage and Shishito Pizza: A hit with the boys. The tomato sauce was perfection. Pork Schnitzel: Expertly breaded and seasoned, with mustard that was the perfect accompaniment. Finally, for dessert, we enjoyed the seasonal Crostata with olive oil ice cream and sea salt—a perfect ending to an incredible meal. Thank you, Chef Chelsea Fadda, for such a...
