Artworks — Attraction in Austin

Adriane was kind enough to have her paper conservator review (what I thought to be) a very old photo which was glued to cardboard backing. I planned to have the backing removed but, she and her conservator were extremely honest in their assessment. They explained that the photo was very likely not as old as I believed it to be. Thanks to them, I was able to make the informed decision not to pay for the cardboard removal. Adriane responded promptly to all of my inquiries. I look forward to using Artworks' services in the future. Without their honesty, I would have spent a considerable amount of money repairing a photo which has little value. I highly recommend them on the basis that their customer service is exemplary. There are many businesses who would have accepted my money and provided the services I asked for. But to offer free education to a naïve customer who has no past dealings with Artworks is worthy of a review, even if I cannot attest to any...

Stuffy and pricey. I went in asking about getting matting for a poster and they were like "oh we dont do that we only do full service, you would need to order it through us" when I asked if they knew anywhere else that might help, they had no idea, just very unhelpful. I mean, all you have to say is Michael's its pretty straightforward here guys.
