Massage Envy — Local services in Austin

The appointment & receipt clearly stated 60 minutes, though afterwards I noticed the asterisk next to it on the website. I was 5 mins late and had called 10 mins prior to my appointment time saying I would be late. Then I was told I still had to fill out forms. When I arrived 5 minutes after my appointment time was to start the front desk spent several minutes going over forms while they talked about themselves. When I got to the back with the massage therapist she continually talked over me when I tried to describe what areas I needed. She also pointed out multiple times that I was late and said she would do what she could. She repeatedly told me how old she was, how strong was and even stopped the massage at one point to show me her muscles. The massage was very average and she even pulled my hair harder than the massage itself. When I got to the front desk it was only 55 mins after my appointment was to start. I was told bc I was late, they had to fill out forms first and the massage itself was only meant to be 50 minutes was why I was paying for what was listed as a 60 minute massage and only received 40...

Avoid Central Austin Massage Envy!

I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Massage Envy in Central Austin. They insisted on switching my home location without my consent, which caused my account to freeze. I specifically asked them not to make this change, but they did it anyway, and I’ve been unable to access my account for over 4 months now. Because of this, I’m out over $500 in credits since I can't book any appointments due to the issues with the address change.

What’s even worse is their lack of help. Every time I reach out, they just pass me around from one person to another like a game of telephone, refusing to take responsibility or actually resolve the problem. At this point, it feels like they’re just giving me the runaround instead of fixing a simple issue.
