June 1, 2022. This morning at 10:30 I called red lobster on Anderson Lane to make sure that they were still offering the endless shrimp deal . I had heard it would be ending at the end of the week and before I drove all the way down to Anderson Lane I wanted to make sure that the deal was still available the person that answered the phone said sure it’s still available and I thought well great show at 3:30 this afternoon my friend and I went to red lobster on Anderson Lane and we sat down an order the endless shrimp dinner the waitress was very kind and asked what kind of shrimp we wanted and even listed all the shrimp that was available for that special we ordered our shrimp and about five minutes later the waitress came back out to us and said oh it’s not available that deal ended I informed the young lady that I had specifically called and asked if it was still available and they said yes so we asked to talk to a manager who came out and said they couldn’t honor what their staff had said was available saying that she was new and that she didn’t know that the special was over and apparently the waitress didn’t know that either because she took her order. We asked if they would still honor the deal because it was a very long drive from Cedar Park to their restaurant the manager said no they couldn’t honor it because the computer wouldn’t except the change so we asked to talk to the general manager who came out and spoke to us and gave us the same answer I really feel that the customer service was lacking tremendously and we were not offered any incentive to stay I have every intention of paying for the food that I order but was not gonna pay for a meal that I didn’t attend by so my friend and I ended up by leaving just want to say that the customer service was pretty bad and I don’t plan on going back to red lobster anytime soon we did end up going to Pappadeaux’s which was actually quite nice they need to improve on their customer service or training or something because that was a long drive...

My guess would be that this is an old establishment and it's not getting deep cleaned as often as needed. I highly doubt it was raw seafood that I smelled. Perhaps carpet cleaning may help and deep cleaning the dining area as well. I observed a waiter drop a whole cup of ketchup on the floor and didn't have it cleaned up. My waiter was an older guy who was very polite, however his hands were extremely dirty looking (almost like a mechanics hands) which was a put off! Cleanliness is extremely important to me when serving and handling food. I ordered fish and chips, clam chowder and a kids Mac n cheese/broccoli. The fish and chips costs $15.99 (see images), which was highway robbery for the little amount of food that was served. One piece of fish and a handful of french fries...$15.99....no lemon wedges, no coleslaw. The fish was overcooked and fries were warm. The clam chowder looked like separated vegetable oil in a bowl of milk. It was HORRIBLE!! I waited around 30 minutes to receive my food and what was brought to my table was highly UNACCEPTABLE! I sent the clam chowder back because it didn't look edible. I told the waiter and he said "that's butter". (See clam chowder images) I've eaten clam chowder for years, it's NEVER looked like milk and vegetable oil. I wish I would've saved my money and ate at home. Red Lobster has lost its pizzazz they are struggling big time! This is sad! The cheddar biscuits were...
Read moreI recently visited Red Lobster, and I have to say—it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and seated me quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. The atmosphere was casual yet comfortable, perfect for a relaxed seafood dinner.
Of course, I have to start with the legendary Cheddar Bay Biscuits. They were as amazing as ever—warm, fluffy, and loaded with cheesy, garlicky goodness. I could have made a meal out of those alone, but the main courses were just as satisfying. I ordered the Ultimate Feast, and it lived up to its name. The lobster tail was tender and flavorful, the snow crab legs cracked easily with plenty of sweet meat inside, and the shrimp scampi had that perfect garlicky butter sauce. The Walt’s Favorite Shrimp were lightly breaded and crisp without feeling greasy.
My side dishes were equally well-prepared—the baked potato was fluffy, and the broccoli was fresh and steamed to perfection. Service was attentive without being overbearing; my drink never went empty, and our server checked in just enough to make sure everything was going well.
The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the wait time for food was a bit longer than expected, likely because of how busy it was. Still, the quality and flavor made the wait worthwhile.
All in all, Red Lobster delivered a satisfying, delicious meal that I’ll happily...
