Sip Munch Cafe — Restaurant in Austin

I have been here a few times and I’m so impressed that I need to leave a review. The foods here are amazing! I got the popcorn chicken, rice paper salad and the fried corn. They taste absolutely insane and high quality. It’s something you would find on the streets in Vietnam. The popcorn chicken is hot and tasty. The breading is not too thick and the layer is very soft not too crunchy that it hurts your gum. The size is bite size so you can enjoy every piece. They also sprinkle on some red magic power i guess it’s paprika powder but it has a strong flavor as well so hard to tell. The fried corn is not too wet. Not too saucy but enough butter and flavor with fried onions. It’s very fun to eat and has just the right amount of seasoning. The rice paper salad is insane. The tamarind sauce is thick and full of flavors. Sweet, salty, sour and punchy that makes your tongue go numb at every bite. The service is fast and friendly. Great atmosphere as well for...

Visuals: The cafe decor is so cute! From a flower wall to an indoor tree, you can tell that the owner really thought about their customers; creating a very aesthetically-pleasing environment for friends and family to hangout and chill over drinks.

Drinks: My husband ordered the special peach lemongrass while I got kumquat sugarcane. Both drinks were super refreshing and delicious! I also love how each drink was unique with its actual fruit!

Service: Throughout our experience from ordering to delivery, we felt comfortable and welcomed. Our cashier was thorough to repeat & check that our orders were correct as well as making sure that it came out right. I appreciate the great service!

Overall, I'd highly recommend Sip Munch Cafe! They've gained a new repeat...

Coming from Hawaii, I was worried about finding good tea/asian food. This spot immediately eased my worries. I’ve never come across a place that has matcha, boba, & Vietnamese coffee?! Plus super yummy Vietnamese food. 😍

I walked in was immediately greeted. The guy working was very kind & attentive & able to create a drink that wasn’t on the menu. I got a guava milk tea with lychee jelly & get this… REAL GUAVA PIECES. I haven’t seen this anywhere, and trust that I’ve been to many tea places.

The guava flavor & sweetness were balanced so well. We also got the popcorn chicken & rice paper salad (I saw another review recommended them). The chicken was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. The salad was a new one for me, & I was pleasantly surprised!

Overall, super happy I checked this place out & I’ll def be back to study once...
