Which Wich — Restaurant in Austin

I placed an online order for pickup about 20 minutes before I showed up over lunch. I want to preface my review with I used to work at which Wich for a year in Houston, TX. There was no line at this which Wich when I walked in, there were maybe 4 online orders on the belt. There were 3 people working on making sandwiches. Not a single one greeted me. I stood at the register for a couple minutes, walked down the line to see what kind of teas they had and decided I actually wanted a tea (which I did not include in my online order). A 4th worker came out from the back and came to the front register, but still didn't greet me... He was getting gloves out of the box to help the 3 other people make sandwiches. There was only 1 other customer in the entire restaurant besides myself who had already been served. I had to ask "is anyone going to help me?" for him to acknowledge me and ask what I needed. I paid for a cookie and a regular fountain drink. I figured maybe they were still working on my sandwich on the line, even though I ordered 25 minutes ago at this point, so I went to fill up my cup first only to find the tea was straight water. Very disappointing. I, yet again, had to ask the 2 workers at the end of the line if my online order was ready and it was sitting right behind them. I told them the tea was out. In Houston, TX I worked at one of the busiest Which Wich's in the city. We would have a line of people out the door during the time I went to this Which Wich. I would have done things entirely different than all 4 people who were working at the Parmer ln location at this time. Some of the most disappointing service I've ever had (or lack thereof). I've enjoyed good sandwiches from here before but last week I placed a pickup order for 3 sandwiches. 2 of the 3 came out great just the way they were ordered and had been prepared by the woman working that evening who seemed friendly and competent enough. The third hadn't been started when I arrived b/c they were out of the cloudwhich so I elected for it to be made on a wrap. It was supposed to be a double meat double cheese muffaletta. It was super disturbing to bite into Lamb meat. Definitely not double meat or cheese but also not at all the correct type of sandwich making all the other toppings combined with it into the most disgusting taste. I submitted feedback through the site from the account I ordered from but now it's been a week and I have not heard back at all. Not to mention while waiting on the last sandwich, there was only one customer in the building and I heard the toilet flushing as the 2nd employee came out of the bathrooms on his way to the food prep area and less than 15 seconds later appeared out in the sandwich making area with gloves on. Handling the meat of the last sandwich, at the time I thought he was making himself something, otherwise I would have said something then about the meat not being the right color or types.

So I guess he thought instead of a muffaletta he'd make a mutton-letta with a side of improperly washed or not at all...

I placed an order on the app. ($30 for 2 sandwiches, no drinks or chips). I get to the store maybe mins after placing my order, and there’s only one other customer who was doing homework and had already been served. Seeing as they weren’t busy, I just went to the front to check how soon my sandwiches would be ready. Again keep in mind there are no other customers. They said “oh sorry the app says your order won’t be ready till 7:37pm, it’s only 7:16pm. So I was like “okay sure no problem” I was on the phone with my mom, when I realize time has gone by, still no other customers, I don’t even see anyone behind the counter. So finally someone comes back out, and I say “may I have the status on my sandwiches?” And he looks at the clock and says “you have 1 more minutes”… it was 7:36pm. I said…okay. So I wait again, 7:37 (when the app says my order is ready), I see him finally print the details of my order and start making the sandwiches…at 7:38…for real. This entire time this dude was doing nothing, the girl was doing nothing. He made me wait for my $30 sandwiches for the “app time”. Finally at 7:50pm, he says “here” and I just grab them and go. Like, I don’t mind waiting, but there was literally no one at the restaurant…I can understand why, now. Will not...
