My drinks never taste the same way twice. I rotate between ordering the same handful of lattes. The only customization I make is “no sprinkles” on the Toasted Mocha. I could order the same exact drink five days in a row (and sometimes do) and it would be different every day. This has been going on for months now. You would think that a chain restaurant that has specific drink instructions would be able to handle replicating a latte. The only explanation I can think of is that the employee turnover rate is so high that everyone is new to making the drinks. I hate nothing more than getting back to my desk with my drink, taking a sip, and realizing that they didn’t put enough pumps of sweetener in it AGAIN. I’ve even taken to asking for an extra pump sometimes to try and head off that problem and they can’t even make that order consistently. 1/3 drinks will be made properly, if that. I never have this problem at other Starbucks locations or when I repeat order coffees from other chains. This location needs to get it together. I’m so sick of spending $6 for a coffee and it...
Read moreI love Starbucks... But today must have been an off day. For starters, it seems like they may have a couple new people who weren't totally trained. I ordered those little egg/cheese/bacon things and apparently the guy who took my order put it either in the wrong oven or the wrong setting, which left the place smelling like burnt eggs. That's not what got me, however. A woman who seemed like the manager reprimanded him in front of a line of customers. It wasnt discreet by any means. I'm fine with new people learning... But handling your employees / staff in front of customers like that was kind of a turn off. It also took about 20-30 minutes to get my order, which is unusual. This may have been due to new staff, but I feel like the management of may have been part of it just based on how she handled the cashier that took my order. There were also a couple employees that didn't seem the best fit for dealing with food... One had a very unkempt beard. I love beards. Don't get me wrong. But I can just see those little beard hairs falling into...
Read moreSo damn frustrating. I asked for a quad venti. I always ask for a quad. In fact I asked twice. That should be an extra $.80 per shot, total $1.60 extra. She didn’t hear me either time and forgot to charge me. I didn’t notice until after I paid so I asked if she could just charge me separately and I would pay cash. Well bless her heart, the cashier could NOT figure out how to charge add-on shots. She kept charging me for a doppio, which was $1 more. I kept pointing at the board, where it said $.80 each but she simply could not understand what I was saying and refused to budge. She screwed up my order and wanted to charge me for an entirely separate drink so I could dump it into my original order. I finally got so frustrated I just settled for 2 shots. This is why I hate corporate coffee. I should’ve canceled my order entirely and gone to a local shop. When will I learn to stop going...
