here is what you need to know before coming to this location
they have parking in the back but you're going to be having to make sure to come really southbound on Burnet road because there is no middle lane to turn on over and the entrance is tricky cuz there's only one way in and out so you got a time it when somebody's not trying to leave the same way you're trying to come in
I have posted a video on this because that is 80% of battles just getting into the back parking area and then there's a decent amount of parking back here for both the peach tortilla and this location but they do share a parking with that I can't really vouch for being able to get parking anywhere else cuz again it's going to be tricky with the way things are just squeezed in in this area
once you can get past that and then you got to go through on foot to drive-in area so not get hit by anybody coming in so then get to the front and enter front the front entrance past the peach tortilla which is not as handicap accessible but can be done
From there plenty of indoor and outdoor dining area very hospitable staff that were very friendly helped point myself and a party I was with to order appropriate items to our pallet would highly recommend this place to tacos were definitely lived up to their expectation especially the carne asada tacos which is special oil dip that goes great with the corn tortilla and the spice chips with the trio of guacamole queso and salsa
plenty of indoor dining area and the restrooms were well maintained and in hilarious sign there with the mens and women's restrooms
From there there's plenty of TVs streaming sports and a large variety of beverages I got the hibiscus fresca and it was definitely worth every penny
not really do alcohol but there was a variety of drinks including a orange oil with our liquor drink that a friend of mine got that was definitely exceeded his expectations as his new favorite for those looking for the ultimate citrus alcohol mix
we did not take very long for putting in the orders they did have paper menus in addition to barcode scan menus and an online ordering website where you can order an advance and pick up to go
overall it was also impressed with the cleanliness of the place they do a great job of maintaining this location and now I know cuz this place has been here for over a decade and have passed by it so many times
outside happy hours furious daily specials but mostly it's just a taco...
Read moreWent to the Clarksville location last night. Ordered a margarita on the rocks and while the drink was good, the glass was FULL of ice! Pretty much three sips and the drink was GONE! Trying to give businesses the benefit of the doubt right now, instead of complaining I just decided to do a frozen margarita instead. My friend offered to get up and get mine when she ordered hers (less people at the counter ordering, safer right?). She came back and when I tried the frozen margarita I realized it was spicy. I can't do ANY spice AT ALL. I walked up to the counter and asked for non-spicy and the gentleman explained to me that all the frozen margaritas were jalapeño flavored. Okay I get it, saving money, limiting flavors. I told him I can't have anything spicy and asked if I could exchange it for another margarita on the rocks, easy on the ice this time. He said due to restrictions he couldn't take the frozen margarita back or touch it since I had already touched it. Then he also said he would need to charge me for the other drink....What? He said that because my friend came up to order it for me, it was HER mistake and not Taco Flats mistake so I should solve it with her. What????? I get that things have changed with how we dine out, but customer service should NOT CHANGE! I basically was asked to pay for 3 drinks when I only had 2.....one that was basically a cup full of ice. I get that he couldn't take the one back, but I was not drinking it. And blaming my friend for a simple mistake, is ridiculous. I keep thinking that if I was sitting down in a restaurant and tried a margarita and discovered I didn't like the taste, a waiter would just get me one I would like, instead of charging me for the one sip I didn't like. We stayed and socialized as planned but did NOT order more drinks and did NOT order any food (like we had planned to) due to this issue in the service. This used to be one of my favorite places. Now it's def on my DO...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow, the fall from grace of this place is nothing short of unbelievable. Thatās not hyperbole. I used to come to this place often a few years back and you could always count on two things: great tacos and great drinks. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Iāll summarize my review of the food briefly: sick to my stomach, literally. Pastor was absolutely disgusting, not sure what that was but that was not anywhere in the same zip code as the delicious pastor this place used to have. The fried shrimp taco was burnt to a crisp. And the nail in the coffin, terrible tortillas. Canāt say for sure, but they donāt seem to be homemade like they used to be. Even if they werenāt, no problemā¦..but these were bland and tasteless. Cardboard-like. And the drinksā¦.my God, the drinks. Terrible. Iāve had homemade cocktails at friendsā parties taste at least 10 times better than these cheap-tequila, synthetic-tasting POS. Absolutely atrocious. Not sure what happened here, but Iām honestly dumbfounded by the drop in quality across the board. Either the owner from a few years back sold the place or theyāre asleep at the wheel with new management in place but WOW! They are incredibly bad. Literally. I feel bad for our server who was absolutely fantastic, I just didnāt have the heart to tell him just how atrocious the food and drinks were. Simply terrible in the full sense of the word. Wouldnāt be surprised to see these guys out of business in the next year or two after all their old customers come back and see just how bad theyāve gotten. Keep in mind, this was on a Friday nightā¦9:30pmā¦.deader than Abraham Lincoln on a Tuesday....
