Quite wonderful sushi offerings here, this food truck has a great take on sushi hand rolls. The presentation is top notch, and getting to see the grill from the ordering window is super cool!
Salmon was my favorite, balancing sweetness and savory was an amazing bite of seaweed along with a great accompanying sauce, and a citrus touch to make everything taste sharp.
I ended up having a majority of the rolls menu, and everything was great — the tuna was very direct and a clear taste of tuna, the pork belly was not too fatty and blended well. Even spam/oyster mushroom were really well done with lots of flavor.
Really enjoyed the experience here alongside Texas Sake. Definitely recommend the combo for a casual night out...
Read moreGood food & fresh fish but a bit too overpriced, paid $55 plus tip for 4 tiny hand rolls. Too much rice to fish ratio. Tuna was a whopping $15, great tuna quality but the flavor was masked by some furikake seasoning. Salmon was ok, again flavor masked by some yuzu sauce, and probs just my luck but got a very lean portion of the salmon. Yellowtail hamachi was way too fibrous, it looked like (and tasted like) snapper, a cheaper fish. Hopefully they're not scamming people. Scallop had 3 pieces in it, parmesan cheese on top was a lil weird. Also staff wasn't very friendly to put a cherry on top. They looked and acted like they didn't want to be there. Probably won't be...
Read moreNeat place but... Not really worth it 3 star service but you really serve yourself. 1 star food due to price... This place has a great setup, atmosphere, and food. But it is way too expensive. I paid $40, ordered three items, and received enough food as a single appetizer for most restaurants. You pay for your meal upon ordering - so you're only aware of the small serving size after you've paid.
I would love to return, but at these prices, I can't. All you can Sushi can be found in Austin for $35.
Atmosphere is awesome! Great music - Linkin Park playing - and Anime provided -...
