Rogues Over the Top Pierogi — Local services in Austin

I'm usually one to avoid food trucks because I don't know why...but this one is next level. When the menu uses terms like gastrique and shaved onion it can't be bad right? They are located at The Brewtique in Cedar Park Wednesday to Saturday so you can enjoy these with a lovely cold beer or other beverage of your choice indoors with AC.

The pierogies are fresh, perfect and tasty BUT the accoutrements are where it's at. We didn't know what to expect really after looking at the menu so we went with a sampling.

My friend ordered the pot roast and we were blown away. It comes with a side of roast with amazing flavors of onion, horseradish and just plain savory goodness. You dip your pierogi right in and something magical happens. Warning: you'll probably get addicted.

The OG was also fantastic. Pierogies with onions, cabbage, horseradish and beet gastrique.

I'm a big fan of dessert and was interested to try a dessert pierogi. Well I didn't regret that at all. I could have eaten all of them by myself but I had to share. They were blueberry cream with a nice powdered sugar dusting and some really nice looking fruit on top. It's a pet peeve of mine when the fruit on top is looking sad or discolored because a nice appetizing piece of fruit means someone cares what their food looks like and tastes like!

Some observations: Outside seating in front of the coolest craft beer shop ever!! Prices are 12-18 dollars. Maybe my husband and I are ignorant to Pierogies but… we thought we were getting roast beef pierogi meaning we thought it was roast beef stuffed in pierogies. Nope. Lol it’s pierogies with a side of roast beef… maybe it was just our inner south texas Mexicanish stomachs screaming “empanadas” or maybe this is typical and we just didn’t know better… no matter we had no idea. Otherwise I hate to say the two separate weren’t what we expected. Quality was high and home made!!! Don’t let our expectation vs reality take away from the high quality fresh food being served. Just wanted to let other people like us know lmao We asked a guy and apparently each dish comes served different which made us really want to come back and experience all the different ones. The Kimcheese one sounds so good! We will be back to try it! Service!! Service was amazing and truly cool! The guys were so cool and nice and sweet and wanted the best for our experience! If every establishment had the service these guys had, we wouldn’t need google reviews lol

I love these guys! I doordashed an order of the O.G.set & the Pierogi Burger a couple of weeks prior to today, it was so savory and flavorful! It was my first time getting a taste of the Slavic cuisine! I took my mom to Rouges Over The Top Pierogi for her first time on a Saturday and we ordered the Kielbasa Sausage Roll & Pierogi Burger it was a 10/10 for us! delicious like always and the prices are great for the quality and value that you get! Big shout out to the owner Derek for giving us dessert on the house it was their amazing Royal Blueberry Pierogi! It is served warm with powdered sugar on the top and a sweet blueberry jam like filling. The perfect way to finish off their fabulous choices! Their kind gesture and hospitality really made my day :) amazing experience for both of us trying this amazing cuisine and culture I couldn’t be more proud to have it be at Rouges Over The Top Pierogi!
