Good Pizza, Tough Wait—Come Prepared
This local pizza joint has a lot going for it—fantastic crust, deliciously crafted pizzas and salads, well priced and delectable appetizers, and a cool, crowded vibe. It has all the makings of a go-to spot, but if you’re coming during peak hours, bring your patience (and maybe a snack).
We arrived on a Friday night, placed our order at 6:11 PM, and then waited a whopping 1 hour and 30 minutes for a large pizza and two slices of the pizza of the day. Not exactly ideal when you’re trying to impress friends with a “great new spot.” Instead, we spent most of the night side-eyeing the takeout line, where others were also stuck in the waiting game. It seems like the kitchen is just too small to handle the volume of hungry customers. A little heads-up from the cashier on the wait time would have been greatly appreciated. Honestly we probably would have saved this place for another, less hectic night had we just been told our pizzas would take awhile.
Beyond the wait, accessibility is another issue. The cafeteria-style seating isn’t very accommodating, and if you have someone in your group who uses a walker or wheelchair, the options are limited. The booths were a no-go, and there weren’t any movable chairs to make seating adjustments.
Final verdict? The food is worth trying—just don’t come during peak dining hours unless you’re in it for the long haul. If they can streamline the kitchen process and improve accessibility, this place could truly be top-tier. Until then, proceed with caution (and maybe a backup...
Read more$70+ for two pizzas(16" and 12"), some garlic butter spiral rolls, and three drinks and they still wanna charge 54 cents for some damned ranch. And of course they didn't ask us when we placed the order if we wanted any dipping sauces, so we had to go back up to the register to make a separate transaction for it.
The pizza was very mediocre. About on par with Little Caesars, except that's doing a disservice to Little Caesars.
The main door is not the closest door for entry from the parking lot and the signage doesn't say anything about going over to the other door. We walked in and stood at the to-go door for a few minutes. There was someone nearby standing with a tablet, but he didn't greet us or acknowledge our presence in any way. I don't know if he worked there or not. If there hadn't been another group of people(the only other people there in a place sized for well over 100 people) I would have assumed they weren't open.
I finally saw the register tucked away in the far corner hidden behind a 8 foot high partition wall for the backs of the booths on raised platform.
It's a very "hands off" dining experience. If you want something, you gotta go find it your self.
I'm not from Austin, but I do understand that things are more expensive here, but this whole experience was not good. At least at other places, the service and food quality...

I sat at the bar since I was alone. It was dirty from whomever ate there before, but I just swept the crumbs away. The bartender wasn't very friendly as she took my order. She repeated my order and walked away, with no amount of time or that'll be right out.. With only three people at the bar I would think she'd check on me at least once, she never did. She walked to the where they keep the Togo orders and took a slice out to eat. She stood in front of the guy a couple of chairs down and told him how hungry she was and continued to eat as they chatted. Then again, she went back and got another slice and started to eat. As I had been sitting there for a while, I needed a refill on water and a Togo box. So I waited until she got close and asked for those items and a check.
It was overall an okay experience. As the bartender being one of the main people in your restaurant, you may want to rethink who you put there. Or have them train more on customer service and professionalism, not just for regulars, but...
