I, along with some business partners came here for lunch due to us visiting for the week for business conference from out of state. One of the employees working customer service at the register whom informed me his name was Bryce, was very rude to not just one but, two of my business partners. One whom happened to be a woman. She politely asked Mr. Bryce, if we could customize our orders? Being each item on menu was a single order. Bryce then responded in a very condescending and rude tone being he is a male, we didn’t understand his response. He responded and quoted, “ No, you can’t! This isn’t chipotle.” I was astounded he would even utter anything like that and in such a rude manner. Especially, being that we were so happy to try Torchy’s. She politely then informed me of what took place, though I heard and saw for myself. Our other business partners whom was a male intervened to correct him due to us being forth coming and very genuine. My other business partner (whom is a male), didn’t understand the hostility given to us from Bryce. When, we came in with such happiness to try Torchy’s for our first time experience and why he responded to anyone not just women. But, in such an unprofessional manner in general. Not only was it unprofessional! But myself and my business partners were more than elated to take our business to Pinthouse pizza with more than exceptional service & genuity towards all mankind. I am truly disappointed in the lack of customer service given by not only Bryce but the lack of customer service that embodies this company as it should offer it’s absolute best. An for Mr. Bryce to represent Torchy’s. Never will we come to this location and spend our hard earn money with such a distasteful and/or unprofessional representation of Torchy’s...
Read moreI wish I could give negative stars. 90minutes for 4 tacos plus HORRIBLE customer service from melody and Ariel. I didn’t even get the tacos. When they told the kitchen I wanted a refund the response was “oh good, okay” yet they were unable to provide someone within another 15minutes to cancel my order.
Getting a refund took another hour. I’ve never heard of waiting to get a refund. They said they would call me back to give me a refund because they were too busy. They never called. I had to return to the establishment to try and get my refund. I was met with more disrespect and it cost me even more time. The employee told the manager they need to call me within three hours but the same employee told me that they would call me within an hour. Poor communication in the chain of command. Poor delivery. Unable to tactfully respond to a grievance.
How does your cashier not know how to reverse an order? How is not communicating to your patrons that your 15-20minute wait would turn into 45, then 55minutes, then 25more minutes in addition?
I haven’t had this bad of customer service since I was in the 90’s. I HATED this experience. It’s unfortunate that this location gives torcheys tacos a bad rap. I frequent torcheys in denver but am reconsidering ever giving money to this establishment anywhere.
I would never recommend this location to anyone. I warn you about being treated like garbage and wasting not only money but time aswell. This place is the absolute worst. Do...
Read moreReally enjoyed my lunch here today! Bryce did a fantastic job of being patient and personable while we perused the menu, made the transaction a fun experience, brought the food out to us in a timely fashion, and checked in later to make sure we had everything we needed. Any time I looked around, he was actively cleaning or helping a customer with a smile on his face. If he’s somehow not employee of the month, he sets a high bar.
The tacos themselves were pretty good too. I will definitely come back for the Mr. Orange (salmon taco). I’m actually not huge on fish tacos, but it’s making me want to try more; there’s a surprising amount of flavor packed into the salmon, and the taco as a whole felt balanced in terms of taste. Good portion sizes as well, to where one taco might actually be enough for those with smaller stomachs (neither my friend nor I finished our second tacos).
It’s a smaller location, so eating inside isn’t the most spacious experience, but it’s fine if you’re dining solo or with a friend. Eating outside invited nearby bees and it was a somewhat noisy environment being right next to the road, to where we had to pause the conversation a few times to let louder vehicles pass. Otherwise, it’s a well-maintained location with just enough parking to accommodate its size.
I don’t see myself eating there regularly, but I do plan on adding it to my lunch stops every so often, especially if Bryce is there and/or that level of service is provided in...
