Super disappointed.

I've been looking for a good Sunday morning breakfast place and had high hopes for Vasquez #3 after reading the reviews. A customer going in with me said he'd been eating there for 20 years. I asked for recommendations, he said everything was great. Hopes got a little higher.

I didn't hear a greeting when I went in. It was about 9:30am on Sunday, approximately 10 customers, and 3 servers. The place was clean and neat, and the servers were moving around, so I wasn't offended about the lack of greeting but it might have helped in the end.

I helped myself to a menu and sat down. No one came by the table, so I went to the counter to order. The lady did not greet me, just said, "ready to order?" She wasn't unfriendly but didn't make an attempt to engage me, so I didn't ask any questions about the food.

I decided to order migas because it's a hard dish to mess up. Vasquez's regular migas don't come with cheese, and that's ok with me, but it's $9.49, and cheese is another .99 cents. I ordered a side of bacon that is not listed on the menu for $3.99. To-go is prepaid, and two migas with one side of bacon cost $24.87, I gave a generous and hopeful tip of $3.13.

While I waited, I noticed the display of desserts on the counter, pastries I think. I wasn't in review mode so I didn't really investigate. I was very suggestible during this visit, and probably would have ordered dessert and/or chips and queso if it had been offered.

The food was done quickly, maybe 5-6 minutes. I decided to play food roulette, and not check my order before I left. Why? I don't know, but I won that one.

Everything was exactly as I ordered but I was SERIOUSLY UNDERWHELMED with the food. Portion size was scant especially for the price. If there were two eggs in either plate, they were super tiny, it seemed more like three large eggs between the two. The jalapenos were diced too large for the dish, and the proportion to egg was WAY off. The potatoes were tender and portion size was ok, but flavorless and barely brown on one side. They looked like they were boiled, then cut and thrown on the grill for a moment. The eggs were crumbly, and fell apart when I put them in the tortillas. There was a very small portion of somewhat runny beans, which did taste good but needed some texture. I got four large, nicely cooked pieces of bacon. Not crispy, but fully done, exactly how I like bacon. Finally! Something good. But no... there was ZERO BACON FLAVOR. Had it not tasted like flavorless fat, it would have been the best part of the meal, even for a dollar per slice. Two ok flour tortillas. Not as good as a fresh Taco Cabana tortilla. I tried the green sauce which was kind of a bleh color, but tasted ok, not very spicy, but ok. A little watery, but I expect that. The eggs had a good overall flavor, but the crumbly texture and size/proportion of the jalapenos took off a whole star.

Overall portion size vs cost took off another star.

Half a star for eh service and one half for delicious looking but sadly tasteless bacon.

The overall experience was underwhelming and forgettable. I will over look mediocre service if the food is great. This food was not terrible, but for the portion size vs the price, it is not worth a repeat visit. To put price in perspective, migas at La Tapatia are $6.99 and portion size is bigger. With a better price/portion ratio, I would probably give them another chance. There's probably less than 50% chance I'd try them again based...

I recently had the misfortune of dining at , Vasquez#3 and I have to say it was a supremely disappointing experience. From the flavorless dishes to the sky-high prices, this restaurant failed to deliver on every level.

First and foremost, the food was a complete letdown. It tasted as though it had been prepared without any care or consideration for flavor. The lackluster presentation made it even harder to stomach. It's astonishing how something so overpriced could be so tasteless. I couldn't help but feel like every bite was a wasted opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal.

Adding insult to injury, the prices at this establishment were absolutely outrageous. I felt like I needed to take out a second mortgage just to afford a basic meal. The exorbitant costs were not justified in the slightest, especially considering the lack of quality in the dishes served. It was as if they were trying to compensate for their culinary shortcomings by gouging their customers' wallets.

Moreover, the service was lackadaisical at best. The staff seemed uninterested and unattentive, making for a lackluster dining experience. Not once did I feel that my satisfaction or enjoyment was a priority to them. It's disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and care in the industry.

Overall, I wholeheartedly do not recommend [Restaurant Name]. The underwhelming taste, coupled with the astronomical prices, made for an unpleasant dining experience. Save yourself the disappointment and find a restaurant that values both flavor and...

Finally found a real Mexican food restaurant! Someone recommended this place to me and decided to try it out one day I was close to the area. No regrets!

The staff is really friendly and welcoming. The wait between ordering and the arrival of the food was 10 minutes most. AND food was delicious!

I ordered the green chilaquiles with two scrambled eggs, refried bean and fajita meat and oh-my-god! Mouthwatering dish, the chilaquiles were crunchy, green salsa was the perfect choice, not too spicy but enough kick to it. Refried bean weren’t greasy, eggs weren’t dry but the best part was the meat, cooked to perfection with almost no fat, great addition to the meal.

Also, when you arrive, they serve you red salsa and baked crunchy tortilla chips. I couldn’t stop eating them even though I was full! Note: salsa is spicy but delicious and will open your sinuses up for sure…lol!

I’m really excited I found this place, I was missing some good Mexican food. I will definitely go back and try out more from the menu. By the way, you get to eat your music with great music in the background, almost wanted to start dancing! D

Highly recommended! Parking might the only issue since the front spaces are 1hr use but there’s more free parking around within...

Food was really good had menudo, barbacoa tacos, chicharron taco, and migas rancheros. Migas rancheros didn't have enough flavor and came out cold other than that everything else was very flavorful. Our waitress was amazing with it being busy we had a table of 7. Menudo was so delicious and very good tacos. Everyone else said their food was very flavorful and so good. Beans, rice, tacos a big variety of food. Highly recommend coming here.

I go here with my family all the time and it's a great place to stop by and eat! Absolutely love the salsa and hot chips. I usually get a menudo and the beef fajita place which always comes hot and fresh with lots of meat! The only downside is that the flour tortillas are sometimes a little stale and you only get a few. The staff is really friendly and nice, but the wait time could be improved as it can vary from 5-10 minutes.
