I rarely leave reviews, but Desi Chinese Sizzle with Spice deserves a shoutout! Like many, I usually rely on Google reviews to guide my choices, but this time, I discovered this gem through an Instagram post—and I’m so thankful I decided to visit.
From start to finish, the food was incredible. I started with the hot and sour chicken soup, which was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tang and spice. My wife got the monchow soup, and it was equally flavorful. The paneer crispy stole the show—it’s easily one of the best Indo-Chinese dishes I’ve had in the US.
We also tried the chef’s special chicken 65, and it was fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. To round out our meal, we had the triple Schezwan rice platter, which was a hearty dish and could easily be a meal on its own. Every bite showcased the authentic Indo-Chinese flavors we’ve been craving.
Chef Asif and the team truly delivered an unforgettable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to come back. If you’re in Austin and love Indo-Chinese food, this is the spot to visit! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for bold flavors and...

It's in Austin and I loved their food! Honestly I was so disgusted with authentic chinese food, because I don't like that blunt taste! Sometimes it's very sweet!
But I got proper Indo-chinese here! I loved their manchow soup so so much! Apart from soup, I tried their veg and non-veg appetizer! We loved their veg manchurian, even if I am core non-veg!
Then Sanghai rice, Chilli chicken and garlic were similar like I used to have in India..!
Next week I ordered online as they were preparing American Choupsey that day... I am not a sweet lover...I like spicy dish much... so, the American Choupsey was good but acc to me, it was not the best like other Indo-chinese dishes I had!
Honestly, I personally feel, this food truck needs shout-out! In wintry afternoon, u can sit under the sun and they have decorated their place in front of the truck unlike other food trucks...I loved it :)

Read moreWas really excited to try this new food truck on 620. Unfortunately experience was poor. The ambience is nice with turf, music and benches. However, the 4 men cooking seemed clueless. Got 30m wait estimate for 2 simple veg dishes. Veg Schezwan noodles and Manchurian. Waited, 60 mins, in the cold and finally got it. I saw them arguing in the kitchen and cooking with bare hands. Moreover they simply fried all the veggies in the same fryer as the chicken lollipops instead of sauté in the pan. (I guess to save time) They also got the order wrong. Made Hakka instead of schezwan… Taste was very very average. The Manchurian was a mushy and super oily. Even basic Hakka noodles were bland and no touch of salt or vinegar. Indo Chinese is so simple… just 3-4 sauces. I don’t know how they’ll survive if they need so much time to cook such basic dishes. I wish them all the best. I hope...
