Introduction: I recently visited the Bombay Street Food food truck located in Austin. As the name suggests, this food truck specializes in serving authentic Indian street food.

Food Quality: The food quality of this food truck was excellent. The dishes were freshly made and tasted delicious. I tried their Samosa chat which were crispy and filled with a flavorful potato filling. The Pav Bhaji was another standout dish that I tried. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the Pav was soft and fluffy.

Service: The staff at the Bombay Street Food food truck were friendly and efficient. They took my order promptly and provided me with a wait time for my food. The waiting time was reasonable and my order was served hot and fresh. They also made sure to ask if I needed any additional condiments or spices.

Ambiance: The ambiance of the food truck was great. They had a few tables set up for customers to sit and eat. The food truck was clean and well-maintained. I also liked the colorful decorations that added to the overall atmosphere.

Value for Money: The prices of the dishes were reasonable and provided good value for money. The portion sizes were generous and the quality of the food was worth the price.

Overall Experience: My overall experience at the Bombay Street Food food truck was great. The food was delicious, the service was efficient, and the ambiance was pleasant. I would highly recommend this food truck to anyone who is looking for authentic Indian street food.

Conclusion: In conclusion, I would definitely visit the Bombay Street Food food truck again. The quality of the food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. If you are a fan of Indian street food, then this food truck is...

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights at Bombay Street Food, a nearby food truck that has left an indelible mark on my taste buds. This hidden gem in Austin has become my go-to destination for authentic Indian street food.

The standout item on their menu is undoubtedly the masala tea, which, in my opinion, surpasses any I've tasted in Austin's bustling food scene. It's so good that I recommended they introduce a tea pass for regulars, and the fact that I find myself visiting every other day speaks volumes about its quality.

The variety of dishes they offer is astounding, from savory chats to mouthwatering vadapav, samosa, ragda pattice, dabeli, pav bhaji, lassi, and more. Each dish is a flavorful journey through the streets of India. I've personally tried their dabeli and samosa, and they were both incredibly flavorful.

What sets them apart, though, is the warmth and generosity of its owners & staff. During a recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised when the Gujarati owner refused to accept payment for my tea upon learning that I was headed to a Garba/Navratri celebration. Their understanding and kind gesture made the experience even more memorable.

In a city filled with food options, they stand out not only for its delectable offerings but also for the genuine hospitality and community spirit it embodies. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend you do so and savor the flavors of India right here in Austin. "Bombay Street Food" is open daily from 4 pm to 10 pm, ensuring that your cravings for Indian cuisine are met with delicious...

We had pav vaji, pani puri and bhel. Ina word the food were SUPER delicious according to our tastebud. We are not from India but we are familiar with these street food. So we went there to try and we were very pleased with the food.

I personally liked the pav vaji and the gravy served with it. The gravy was thick and tasted really good with the pav which is a piece of bread roll.

The second thing I liked was the bhel. It’s basically puffed rice mixed with some spices. It was decent. In our country we also have that but mixed with green chili and spices of our kind. That actually taste better than this to us. But anyway, this bhel was a good substitute of that hot and spicy rice puff from our country.

Panipuri was average. It wasn’t something that would force you to bring out the wow expression. The puris could have been fried a little less. Some of the puris had burnt marks because of over frying. However these tasted decent with the sweet and tangy liquids these were served with. It also came with a lentil (dal).

The atmosphere was good. The shop is actually a food truck trying to create the vibe of street food. So you order standing in-front of the truck and then after picking up you sit in an open space. It’s actually the space of a gas station. Feels like eating right in front of the street, which is a good way to bring some of the memories from our...

I absolutely love the chats we get here! We usually get Pani Poori & Bhel Puri. Everything here tastes super fresh and good. A must visit place in Austin for good Indian chats & snacks. This is tucked away inside a Chevron gas station, so finding it was a bit tricky. Also the parking here is absolutely chaotic. There is very limited parking space so finding a spot is going to be difficult especially during weekends. The other thing that we’re not satisfied about is their service. The person who took our order was very rude & yelled at us when he couldn’t hear what we said. And he kept talking to the other staff inside in another language about us when we were placing our order thinking we don’t understand that language. I felt that was unnecessary. I personally recommend getting takeout and eating in your car/ at home to avoid the crowd that comes during the weekend
