Horrible experience. I have no desire to return. Service experience was a ZERO. I ordered on the app at 12:13p. It said that my order should be ready at 12:28p. I got there early, at 12:18p. No other customers were in the store. I told the gentleman working behind the counter my name and that I was picking up. He checked the order board but didn’t say anything to me. After standing there a minute or so, he inaudibly mumbled that it would be a couple minutes, without even looking at me. I wasn’t even sure he was talking to me, but no one else was there. That it wasn’t ready was not my issue because I was early. His lack of clear communication was. But I sat down and waited. Meanwhile, the Regional Manager was on the phone with someone complaining about the amount of ice in her drink and her burgers being like a hockey puck. I learned that the drivers prepare the delivery drinks, not the store. One other female customer came in and ordered at the kiosk. Then another gentleman ordered at the counter. By now it was 12:31p and I was still waiting. No other customers came in during this 13 minute span. I also did not see any delivery orders get prepared and placed in the holding area. One burger in an empty restaurant should not take that long, so I went to the counter to ask about my order. He looked at an order that had just come out and read the name, as if it could be mine. It was a female name, for the person that came in way after I did. I told him my correct name and said I already mentioned it to him when I first got there 13 mins prior. My bag was there behind the counter. He didn’t even tell me or call my name. Not sure how long it was there but it was warm when I got home, so likely not THAT long. But it was SO dry. I know why the person on the phone said that theirs were hockey pucks. My burger felt like it was cooking for 15 full minutes and all the juice rendered out of it. Burgers should not take that long. Not in an empty establishment. Orders should be delivered or announced when ready. Hockey pucks do not belong between buns. 0 out of 5. I do...
Read moreI did not hate it but for sure did not loved it at all! Actually I would not be back just because I am the real deal Burger fanatic who has eaten 1000s of burger around the globe for the past 50 years! And have worked as a professional consultant for the food industry for 17 years! And not the concept and specially the service did please me! So let's talk briefly about what my first impression was: I went to the Aventura FL store to have a classic cheese burger cause if they can get that right chances are that everything else will be great, The sandwich itself was not good at all Because they box it, which is the nicest presentation but a major mistake, by the time you open it, the lettuce is mushy the tomato is mushy the bread is soggy.... Jesus! Burgers are NOT made to be blanched in steam! See the picture?? They totally kill the crispness! The beef is tasty and I give the credit where credit is due! But unfortunately it is very tiny in relation to the whole! Jumping over dollars to save pennies kind of situation! And the same picture was noticed on the size of the condiments receptacles! Very shallow small... horrible cheap bad! Now, the worst of all!!! The service! WOW! THEY REALLY imported the whole Opa Locka rude classless KFC crew! What was that?? That crew absolutely does not fit the Neighborhood or the concept! That hiring is the biggest delusional mistake ever! Waiting time is also way absurd for the hand full of patrons at that time... The amount of floor complaints were alive and kicking showing a clear picture of how we, the customers feel! The Fast Food environment ambience is totally there and that makes your subconscious mind feel the immediacy of speed! Wrong messages given everywhere!!!! Who thought about all that concept subliminal messages? Anyway... those are my major points! Place is beautiful, yes it it! Box boutique presentation even though is sabotaging the product, it is very nice! I wish it would work but does not!!! There you have it a free...
Read moreAs a "Burgermeister"—a graduate of Hamburger University with over 20 years of experience in the business—what I am about to say is not the opinion of a novice. I have a deep understanding of what it takes to run a successful hamburger operation, and it is with this knowledge that I am sharing my profound disappointment.
I recently visited the BurgerFi located at 18139 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL, and the experience was, frankly, one of the worst I have had in this industry.
My first impression upon entering was one of distaste due to the unacceptable state of filth. The lobby, the work area, and even the restrooms were all unclean. What was even more telling was that the restaurant was almost completely empty during what should have been a rush hour, with only three employees visible. The problems continued with the ordering process. My wife's first two choices—the vegetarian burger and the sweet potato fries—were both unavailable, despite being prominently featured on the menu. To add to the frustration, the Coke dispenser was empty, which, for any fast-casual restaurant, is a critical and unacceptable oversight. The most critical issues, however, were with the food itself: My wife’s gluten-free bun was hard and stale. The size of the hamburger patty had noticeably shrunk compared to previous visits. My fries were a strange mix of old, cold fries and a few fresh ones, and they were completely unsalted. Ultimately, I am deeply disappointed by this brand's apparent failure to maintain its standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. I cannot recommend this location or the brand, as it no longer reflects the high standards...
