Carrot Express — Restaurant in Aventura

This Carrot Express is so good! It's the first time my partner and I have been here. When I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and two staff members promptly asked if I needed assistance. I told both of them that I had an online order I placed, and they told me it would be ready in a few minutes. This location was extremely clean and organized, and there were plenty of open tables and chairs. I received my order within 5 minutes and left the location.

On the ride home, the smell of the sweet potato fries was too good to resist. They were crispy on the outside but warm and soft once you bit into them. 10/10 in taste, freshness, and quality for me, but my partner wished they had a salty or sweeter element to compliment them.

Once we got home, we opened up our bag to see a beautifully presented HUGE Poke Power Bowl and a great portion sized and picture worthy Chicken Goddess Burger with a side salad. They both smelled amazing and looked freshly made.

We bit into them, and we were hooked! The cilantro lime sauce that came with my burger complimented it so well. It was fresh, a little limey but not overpowering. My house side salad came with a honey mustard vinaigrette that was perfect too. It was tangy but sweet, and it went well with the candied walnuts that the salad had. My burger was very flavorful, perfectly cooked and breaded chicken. It had onions, which can be a hit or miss at times, but it was definitely a major hit. Overall, I recommend it!

My partner had the Poke Power Bowl, and she chose the cooked tuna. She didn't want to remove anything from the bowl, but once she had it, the only complaint she had was the arugula. It was too tart for taste, but she is more of a sweet leaning person. The eel sauce and spicy mayo really pulled it together. They seasoned the tuna really well, and they cooked it to perfection. It was soft but crispy on the outside. The rice was nice and fluffy, too! The avocado was at the perfect point. It was extremely creamy and good! She would recommend it to anyone!

Today I called to place an order over the phone and unfortunately I do not remember the name of the woman who answered but she was extremely rude and unprofessional and you can thank her for losing a customer. Upon answering the phone, she said in a snarky manner that orders could be placed online. I explained that I was busy and would like to do over the phone. She proceeded to take my order and when done, a customer walked into the restaurant and she complained that they would have to wait because she was on the phone with someone else. I don't know how you guys train your staff, but if it's so difficult to manage in-person customers as well as customers on the phone then 1) don't make it an option to order over the phone 2) you can simply ask the customer on the phone to hold. It's not rocket science; this is standard in all restaurants. Apparently what is not standard at Carrot Express, and perhaps what has not been taught to this woman, are manners. If you continue to have her interact with your patrons, good luck...

ok so this is the second time i order from this place because the first time i was soooo happy i loved their ACAI they are quite addicting. everything is delicous fresh and delivers fast via uber eats. the reason im coming here with 3 stars is because the "manager" was very rude on the phone. i placed an order via uber eats and 2 minutes later i called irght away because uber eats didnt give me an option to remove the granola and i dont like granola on my acai it gets soggy and i just dont enjoy it...so when i called to advise shes like "oh well we already made it" i was like ummm? ok that was fast however i dont like it so???? so she was still standing by yeah but its been made sorry....at the end she said ok this one time ill re make it but for next time call first...lets just say im never odering again. I received my bowl and the granola was still on it. Not cool. i paid $20 (including delivery and fees) for a bowl i didnt even enjoy...
