Mo’s Bagels is a true gem in Aventura and a go-to spot for anyone craving an authentic Jewish deli experience. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, bustling, and filled with the scent of freshly baked bagels and deli classics. The bagels themselves are the star – chewy, fresh, and perfectly golden. But Mo’s goes far beyond bagels. Their Jewish deli items are top-notch: the matzo ball soup is comforting and flavorful, the pastrami and corned beef are tender and generously stacked, and the whitefish salad is as good as you’ll find in NYC. They also serve a fantastic lox platter, with all the fixings done right. Don’t leave without trying the baked desserts. Their rugelach is sweet and flaky, the babka is rich and chocolatey, and the black and white cookies strike the perfect balance between cake and cookie. There’s a sense of tradition in every bite. Whether you're here for a hearty brunch, a deli sandwich, or just a coffee and a sweet treat, Mo’s delivers. Friendly service, huge portions, and that nostalgic deli charm make this a must-visit in Aventura.

Originally from New York and living in Florida for years, when we were visiting Miami we have a feeling that this place could satisfy our desire for good bagels and generally it didn't disappoint... the stuff was amazing, very attentive whole process and food us exceptional, it was really what would be expected and more, only one thing was shocking - I went to the bathroom and guess what - little mouse came from under the door to say hello.! Thankfully I didn't panic and I just shut it out. We reported it to the lady at front , she reported it to her bosses, she was so shocked and embarrassed and very, very apologetic. We still wanted to buy six bagels, which she gave us free for inconvenience, which was appreciated by us, she said she's working there for 12 years and they were never issues, but they'll definitely approach it...we hope so, because as I said place is otherwise incredible..!

Came here for lunch and was incredibly disappointed. Firstly, we were the only two people in the restaurant which should have been the first sign of trouble but we were super hungry so we stayed. After being seated a couple of the staff started fighting loudly and made arrangements to “take it outside to fight”- not sure what happened there we didn’t follow them out. There was other yelling and commotion among the staff at times but none as violent. The chicken vegetable soup had a weird flavor and there were only 4 small pieces of chicken in it. We waited for our potato pancakes and when they came out they looked and tasted basically like fried bread patties. After that disappointment, in spite of our hunger we left money for what had come out (in 30 minutes) and left without waiting for them to make the rest of our food. Would not recommend.

On thursday september 1st around 11:00am I went with 2 coworkers for a coffee while we made time to visit a client.

When we arrived at the hostess she didn't even say “Hi” or was courteous. She was in a hurry and sat us down. She made no eye contact or anything. First red flag.

We ordered 3 waters and when the waitress brought it one of the cups still had fuchsia lipstick on it. For me thats a big "Stand up and leave" but didn't wanted to be picky in from of my coworkers. That was my second red flag.

The waitress took it and didn't even say "I'm sorry". She left and brought a new cup that she put on the table. At this point we didn't feel like drink their water.

We decided to order our coffee because we were not hungry, and after the lipstick we didnt feel like eating there anyways, so we ordered 3 cappucinos.

For our surprise only 1 cappucino arrived at the table (third red flag). Sometime they bring stuff separately because they dont fit on the tray, so we tought that she was coming immediately with the rest. After like 3 minutes I decided to start the stopwatch and 16.32 minutes later the other 2 cappucinos came. How it is possible if we are together in a table and we ordered together?

I took the first coffee because my partners insisted that me as a women started first.

I had 2 sips and couldnt drink it. It didnt taste like a cappuccino. It was watery. Didnt wanted to say anything because my 2 partners were a little mad because their coffee was not on the table yet so I just stopped drinking it with the "waiting for yours to enjoy it together" excuse.

When their coffee finally arrived, they took 1 sip and called the waitress to say how horrible the coffee was. Cappuccinos are supposed to have this light brown color and our coffees were almost white.

The service was horrible. Nobody smiled at you, nobody come and check on you or if you need anything, nobody said Im sorry.

Even for the bill they took forever. That was the longest coffee of my life because it took us more than 1 hour.

Will never come back or recommend this...

Horrible experience for an early Fathers Day breakfast. Arrived before 10 am, was seated and forgotten. The waitress assigned to our area left. We asked a busboy for someone who could take our order. He got a waiter from another section. The waiter was stellar but overworked so when it came time to get our check we had to ask a passing by “manager”. I immediately noticed instead of charging us the correct fee for a side of mac and cheese they overcharged us. The price did not match their menu. I showed the manger who checked the menu and began to provide an erroneous rationale. He adjusted the Mac and cheese price. I then noticed they overcharged us on everything. We arrived before 10 and should have received the breakfast specials price but they didn’t. I told the manger and he said our order was entered later and called our waiter to ask why he took so long to enter our order. I immediately defended the waiter. This wasn’t even his section and not his fault that the original waitress left and we were left sitting there for at least 20 minutes. I told the manger to just give me the bill and I will pay the wrong price as I didn’t have time for this.

To top it off my husband and I both have stomach issues from eating there. Will not come back or recommend eating here. I used to frequent Moe’s years ago when Moe was in the restaurant. Now that I am back to South Florida I hear everyone goes to Bagel Cove. I learned I am not the only one they have made sick or overcharged assuming one...

The place looks nice, fancy, and is big, other than that the place completely stinks.

1st the service was really bad because we couldn't get anyone to serve us. Then it took 2 wait staff just to take our order and serve us for only a table of 2. Then one of the wait staff in the restaurant screams a lot and you have another one talking loud across the restaurant telling that one to stop screaming.

Then the omelette that I ordered was very bland with no taste to it at all. Also it gave me extreme heartburn which I never have, especially from eggs. Then bagels as they're homemade don't really have any taste to it and if you order an ET bagel it has virtually no seeds at all on it and looks like a plain bagel. Honestly cheap store bought bagels taste much better than these bagels.

Overall I would say the food is not worth it and it's overpriced compared to its competitors like Bagel Cove. Which Bagel cove is much better and higher quality, even if the owners response says otherwise just by me going to the 2 restaurants and comparing the prices and food quality. Also hands down, Bagel Cove (only .1 miles away from Moe's) has the best bagels and deli food in general that I've ever tried in Dade and Broward Counties. Which its as good as Katz's in NY (I would even go as far as to unofficially call it "Katz's South" lol), so honestly you shouldn't waste your time...
