Iâve been a regular at this restaurant located just behind the Aventura Town Center for years, but only now have I had the chance to write a review. As always, all the food was delicious. They serve Japanese and Thai cuisine here. In addition to a wide selection of sushi, sashimi, and rolls, the menu also offers a variety of other dishes.
For appetizers, I ordered Tuna Tataki and Soft Shell Crab, and for the main course, I ordered Crispy Duck. It was my first time trying Soft Shell Crab, and although its appearance wasnât very appealing due to its soft shell, it was very tasty. The Tuna Tataki was also delicious, especially with the accompanying ponzu sauce. The Duck portion was quite large, served with steamed rice. It also comes with a side dish containing ginger, garlic, or other ingredients. It was quite filling and the duck was nicely roasted.
My spouse ordered Shrimp Parpadella with Broccoli. It had plenty of shrimp in it and was tasty. Our daughter-in-law ordered Dynamite Roll and Pad Thai Shrimp, which were also very tasty.
In conclusion, the food here is really filling, the portions are generous, and itâs delicious. The service is quite good and while itâs not very fast, itâs manageable. We went at an earlier time, around 6:30 pm, and the restaurant was empty, but after 8 pm, the restaurant was completely full and there were no empty seats. If youâre going, I recommend going before 7 pm, and if youâre going on a Sunday, before 6 pm.
The atmosphere of the restaurant has been the same and old for years, but it suits this food concept. Given all the taste and generous portions, the prices are quite reasonable and cheap. Although not many tables, there is also the possibility to sit outside. They also offer the possibility to order online and pick up. Parking is not a problem at all, itâs very easy to find a spot in the free parking lots in front of the restaurant.
If youâre craving Asian food; want tasty, plentiful, varied, and cheap food, but the ambiance, decoration, and view are not that important, I would definitely...
Read moreArrived at 6:45 pm on December 23rd, the restaurant had people but not overwhelmingly busy. 10 minutes after we sit the waitress comes to get drink orders. She doesnât come back for another 10-15 minutes to take our order. Place the order and 45 minutes later, no food. We asked how long, she said sheâs check. At that point we waited another 10-15 minutes, but with a crying and hungry baby we decided it be best to leave. Not wanting to leave without paying for our drinks we waited, also to see what sheâd say. So we see her coming back our way but doesnât stop at our table. We ask her mid walk and she yells âIâm getting it nowâ. At that point we told her weâd be leaving and only pay for our drinks. She leaves, doesnât say a word, doesnât stop at the table she was going to and runs of somewhere. So we wait for our check, she comes back and tells us not to worry about it. First time ever weâd left a restaurant for bad service. Weâre locals and this was our first time there, unfortunately to never...
Read moreI've been a customer of this restaurant for many years, since I live next door, I order food from there at least once a week. The food is spectacular and I love it. However, it pains me to say that I will no longer return or order anything from this restaurant again. I find it very disloyal that a regular customer who always orders and leaves a good tip is charged 2 dollars for eel sauce and spicy mayo. It's not about the moneyâI was planning to leave a good tip anyway (much more than the two dollars)âbut it bothers me greatly when loyal customers aren't taken care of. It's like going to a restaurant, asking for mayonnaise, and being charged for it. They lost a loyal and noble customer of many years over two sauces. As a person dedicated to business and having owned restaurants for many years, there's something called loyalty to customers. I invite you to...
