Checkers — Restaurant in Avon Park

This is the hub's and my new go-to spot when in Avon Park. The Baconzilla is killer!! He leans towards the Big Buford.....though I polished off that sweet, sweet bacon myself!! The loaded fries are also worth it. While there, the staff was fantastic. They were friendly, courteous and personable. I ordered a large strawberry mango type drink and they let me know they were out of large cups for those. This doll instead gave us two mediums, which was much more than just the large. She DID NOT have to do that. That was so sweet. She also let me know about the satisfaction survey on the back of the receipt. I gave them all high marks AND got an offer for free food at the end (a redeemable coupon).

This must be an all new crew from the last time I was there, because this new one is A++++++. The 2 employees I I especially want to recognize are: the first contact was with a young lady with a leather Yves St. Laurent face mask (she was SWEET!!!) and the other young lady had longish blonde hair. The food was very good but the service was not so good!!!! It's not that they too much time getting the food out because i could not believe how fast that was. It was the drive thru attendant, she was being very rude to not only us but the customers in the cars behind us!!! We went to park in the parking lot to eat our food and it was right where i could hear the drive thru speaker!!!! She even told one of the customers to hurry up there was other costumers behind them!!!! I asked her for a recipe for the perchase and she rolled her eyes at me! I don't think I will be going back. Apparently they allow the employees to act like that. Nothing was done after all of the incidents. I didn't state all of them i believe that the few i did was enough. I'm going to give this restaurant a 0 maybe a 1 for the good food and fast service, but a big fat 0000000 for training the staff!!!! My wife ordered or family of 5 online and all I have to do is pickup I always asked them to separate the food to make sure the order is correct and all there the shift manager told me I will give you bags to separate the food yourself and the food is all there fine no problem check the food told her something is missing and she said nothing missing I said ok when I got home and passed out everyone food something was missing a chicken sandwich so I called Checkers and told them I was just there and a sandwich was missing the swift manager that told me everything was there also said yes a chicken sandwich was missing so I had to go back.to correct the mistake they gave a loaded French fries but I wanted some wings she told me she couldn't give me wings for her mistake no problem my family of 5 will NOT be eating here again just another fast food place that won't be seeing our...
