Yums Chinese Food — Restaurant in Avon Park

We can so tell new owners took over. Been going there for over 20 years. WTH is this??? Half slices of onion in my lo mien with huge chucks of broccoli. Not to mention my thumb is larger than the egg roll. I may not be Chinese but I understand how it's prepared and why. These new owners are awful and embarrassing to the Chinese culture. Loved the food for over 20 years, tonight I know my food was not cooked by the normal Chinese family that have been cooking this whole time. I won't return!!! It was not cooked by Asians at all! Btw, never ever staple the container as it contains...

I ordered 2 plates of food and some french fries. My son had honey chicken that was old and bland no flavor at all. Mine was general tsos chicken that was mostly breaded pieces with sauce. Both included rice that was not fully cooked and hard. Fries were super salty and greasy and could not eat. I ended up paying around $30+ dollars for food that was thrown away. I called to tell them about their food and she didn't understand what I was saying. Didn't even apologize. I refuse to go back. This place used to be so good and I would drive from Sebring just to get their food....

I must agree with the Nick fisher..... NOT NY FOR SURE LOL that being said its decent for where we are but if you want chinese almost as good as what were used to up north go to the chinese take out in sebring in the winn dixie parking lot by subway GREAT food good prices but a good drive from avon park.........And you can always try makita chinese buffet jensen beach AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! 5 of 5 stars from me full chinese selection always fresh and hot a full sushi bar and crab legs and fresh OYSTERS dinner is $10.99 all drinks included goyya try...
