Family Taste — Restaurant in Avon Park

Bought food 2 days ago and I did not get what I ask for. The response was like it had already been made when it’s still not what I ask for and they refuse to correct my order. I will not try to confront anyone since I was told the owner is who serves the food. I’ve had someone else got me food and they told me that they did not give any receipt or change and they could not print one out because it was took late, I was not given back any change for my order. Stopped by while in Avon Park to scratch my Haitian food itch. I was not disappointed.

My two kids and I came in and were greeted nicely, I asked if they have griot and djon djon, she said yes and she complimented me on knowing how to order and pronounce the food properly.

Amazing, authentic, home cooked Haitian food with a very warm Haitian atmosphere!

I spent 5 months in Haiti and had the best home cooked food daily. I can't get Haitian food where I live in Arizona, so as soon as I got to visit my dad in Avon Park, I looked for a Haitian restaurant. I was surprised to see this so close and had to try. It did not disappoint!! So delicious, flavorful, authentic, and even nostalgic for me. I brought my dad who has never had real ethnic food from any other country... he loved it and will be back...
