i went in to Ed's the other night to get dinner for me and my boyfriend, when i placed the order over the phone, they said about 15 mins ( i live about 20 mins away so i started heading over there once the call was hung up, i had to stop and get gas before hand) when i arrived about 30 mins later my food was not even dropped. I said i was there to pick up my order and they couldnt even find my ticket, whoever was working the front forgot about my order and left my ticket laying on the counter so i had to wait for them to cook it. when my food was finally done i went over to a table to check my food to make sure everything was there & correct when i went to a table it was COVERD in the previous customers food and there was a spilt drink all over the table and floor normally its understandable when its busy in the resturant but they were completly dead, so i then began checking my food and i grabbed a bag to open it and found a long hair in it and to top it off my food was wrong, i went up to the counter to infrom them what had happend and they got snappy with me and accused me of it being my hair ( i have red hair) the hair was black. they said they were gunna have to recharge me if i wanted it remade. First of all I am a black 48 years old male that loves fried fish. I moved to the area 4 years ago and looked on the internet for a good fish fry restaurant. I saw that ED's fish and chips got good reviews. I ordered a fish and shrimp combo and a catfish and chips order. I was very dissatisfied with both orders. First of all the shrimp was in strips like chicken strips and had no flavor and tastes like imitation shrimp fried in no flavor batter. The Cod was 3 squared fish. It look like they got it from a local grocery store. The catfish looked like a normal piece of fish you would expect to receive but with no flavor. They told me they been around for 30+ years. I guess the people living on the west side of Arizona(Avondale, Goodyear, etc. ) that gave a great rating don't know what good fish taste like. FYI - I ate fish from ADAS fish in Goodyear (been around for over a year) and it taste like real fish not imitation fish. The only reason why I didn't go there is because they were closed.
