Tortas Manantial — Restaurant in Avondale

My Mom stopped by to try it out. I stayed in the car as she had her service pet and didn't wanna take him in and bother nobody to be quick. So as she waited about 10 min to order. She was just greeted...well not greeted just straight out ignored.Not sure what it was but it did not look busy from my point of view. When my mom came back out with nothing she told me about being looked straight in the eye and getting the famous roll and no greeting just coldness. My mom is Caucasian but she a jeta and love any type of food. she also didn't want to be some type of Karen but what they did was not good for the business. I'm also going to quit recommending my family and friends from now on. It's really not too bad. I do enjoy this food. It's not so amazing that I would go out of my way to eat here, but you best believe if I am near this location, I am definitely going to recommend it. When they first started, this place gave you a good amount of food on your torta when they first opened up. The sizes were better as well. After a while you barley got enough that you had to order 2 tortas. It was very sad. Now it seems like they are a bit better. Everything about this place is just a bit above average. My husband and I went to the location in Avondale, we ordered carne asada fries and a cubana torta with a papaya licuado and pepino agua. I originally wanted a mango licuado but they didn’t have mango. We also got a fresa con crema cup. When we received our food, the torta wasn’t that great we’ve had better other places. My carne asada fries I couldn’t eat one bite without nerve and fat in the meat and the cheese was burnt and placed on top of the fries, to where I could just lift it up and the fries were bare not melted into them like I expected.
