Definitely will be our last time to visit this place. When it was frenkis, it was awesome. We would drive out from north ftw at least a couple times a month. Enjoyed everything about it. Then it sold. I wrote a negative review a few months ago after we decided to give it another chance. So, we thought it's been a while now, maybe they've learned the importance of customer service, and we drove out again Friday night.
Nope!!! The 1st thing our waitress said was that we might have to wait quite a while for our meal. There were new people in the kitchen and they were slammed. I must say here, there were 3 other tables in the restaurant at this time. She brought out 2 rolls, that were so overdone they were inedible.
As we were waiting quite a while on the meal, I asked her to please bring out some bread that was edible. I asked if they had some oil and vinegar, or the red sauce frenkis used to bring with the rolls, since we were waiting so long. She stated the sauce was 1.99. I told her to just bring out some bread we could eat then. (If you eat out alot, you know that most every other Italian restaurant provides you with, at least, oil and vinegar at no cost).
She brings our 2 rolls (which were very good) and the red sauce. I assumed it was complementary, a way of off setting the wait time, since I did not ask for it.
Food was decent, portion sizes and quality have significantly decreased since this new company took over, and of course, prices much increased (though this is still a relatively cheap place to eat).
Check delivered, and there is a charge for 1.99 for sauce! I told the waitress I did not order this and to please remove it. She took it to her manager to have him fix it. My husband watched the whole interaction. The manager grabbed the ticket from her and shot us "a very dirty look", obviously ticked off that he wasn't going to get the revenue. No concern over customer service whatsoever, no visit to our table to ask how things were, apologize for the wait, offer anything complementary......NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO CUSTOMER APPRECIATION, NO SENSE OF FOSTERING CUSTOMER LOYALTY.
We will not be back. I've given them 3 chances now, they are not concerned over a good reputation, so it seems. So sad. I...

Read moreMe and my wife attended this eatery on a Wednesday evening.
First off; Food: The food was subpar especially for the price. We had the bread and some cheese sticks for an appetizer. The marinara was alright however the cheese sticks were far too soft. Their bread was nothing to write home about. I ordered the pasta sampler which was all 3 things put together in a single bowl. I still am not sure this is the pasta sampler and when I asked the server she responded she though it was lasagna then corrected with "sorry it is a pasta sampler everything just looks the same". The pasta sampler or whatever I had was watery and unappetizing. It was more of a soup than anything. I ate 3 or so bites and discarded it. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiano with a side of spaghetti. Before ordering we asked if it was meat sauce to which the waitress said yes. Once we received the meal it was marinara not meat sauce. She too eat a few bites and left the rest on the table and asked for the check.
Service: The waitress (I believe was named Ashley) was not knowledgeable on the menu. Multiple times she guessed which ended up giving me and my wife a worse time. A customer sat behind us (about 15 minute difference) was attended to quicker and had food faster and more attendance from our shared waitress. We sat down for a total of 1 hour and spent about 45 minutes of that time waiting.
Overall: Very upset. Spent $53 before a tip on food we had just a few bites of and left hungry. It's rare I leave an establishment hungry by Capriccio will ever be on that list. Their establishment was lifeless and felt devoud of joy their staff did not seem to enjoy their job. As someone who grew up in an Italian household it hurts me to say. The food, service, and atmosphere at olive garden is league's better than here. What night be worse is that the mozzarella sticks from sonic are also better. Very upset for a supposed authentic snd high quality Italian establishment to turn out...
