Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Azle

Well, to start off, my order did arrive in a timely manner for which I was greatly appreciative. What I did not appreciate is the fact that I did not receive the 12 packages of parmasean I paid for. I mean, if all "fast food" pizza chains are going to start charging us for what used to be a free condiment, they'd better not forget it. Technically, it's now a part of the order. Anyways, I'm getting sidetracked. The driver arrived at my door, he handed me the 3 pizzas I had ordered. Then he told me that he had a separate bag of parmasean packages in his vehicle for me, and he went to retrieve it. He then returned to my door without a bag and told me that he didn't have any extra parmasean on him, but that they should've put a few in the box. Then he proceeded to gesture a fist bump like we were cool, but we were indeed not cool at all. He left, I checked the boxes, and there were zero packages of parmasean. So I set down to enjoy my large stuffed crust pizza with Philly cheesesteak and extra cheese without that heavenly parmasean sprinkled on it, but it was so very undercooked. So I feel like it was a waste of the $20 in Papa Dough points I had built up.

I love Papa John's, and I will continue to order from them. I just hope this bad experience...

This location has had multiple flaws and this will be the last time I order from them. They charge full price for dipping sauces and don’t give you full servings. They underbake their pizza multiple times. They are always late on delivery times. This time they forgot a drink and when I called to have them bring me one they stated they can refund or get someone to bring it. I requested they send it since the soda I ordered was intended to be paired with my meal. Over 2 hours later nothing. I call back and the (manager) Jessica stated she was “sorry” and can refund my soda. At this point after multiple issues with this location I requested to refund my entire order since this isn’t their first occurrence and another terrible customer experience. Update 2/26/21 So like I said before. I’d give them another shot to redeem themselves and I have given the two carry out opportunities and they haven’t let me down. Both times the pickups went off without a hitch and the food is Papa Johns quality. I should know I use to make the pizzas. Way back when they still had the free delivery and 30 minutes guarantee. So I’ve updated my star rating to a 5.

Placed an advanced order at 5:59 for pizzas for a birthday party to be picked up at 7:15. Got there at 7:06 and was told it would be another hour and half. I get it’s your first day and all that. But if your not capable of handle first day volume or limiting online orders you’ve got issues. The system shouldn’t let you place a select time order if it can’t be fulfilled at the selected time. Now since I love PapaJohns I’m gonna give y’all a second chance later this week. Then we’ll see about raising...
