Popular, family-owned restaurant that serves delicious BBQ. They’re currently open for takeout during covid (no outdoor seating at time of publication). You have to order ahead via phone (same day) or online (which is only good for the day before). Credit cards are accepted. Street parking but there is a small lot that could fit about 4-5 cars (luckily it’s a quiet neighborhood). The service is super friendly. Of course, you come here to indulge in meat. The portions are super generous. For example, the riblet plate could easily feed two to three people on its own (when I think it’s just meant for one!). It comes with two sides. The Sampler for Two also comes with two sides, and I’d recommend getting this for first-timers. You could also even split it among three to four people if you got another small plate. There’s brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and ribs. Everything is delicious but my favorite are the riblets and ribs. There are two different BBQ sauces (the black container is more spicy/smoky, while the transparent one was more sweet). The hot link was moderately spicy and can be ordered as an extra side. The sides are all good, you can’t really go wrong. The fries are thinly cut and have some kind of seasoning beyond salt and pepper (yummy). The macaroni salad is like what you’d find at a homey picnic, and my dad especially loved the pork and beans (not sure what they put in there). The garlic bread was my favorite side - very buttery and crisp, even though we got takeout. Overall, the meats were all succulent and tender, with great flavor.

I happened to be in the area and in the mood for BBQ. This was a great choice! I was a little intimidated trying to find the entrance, though. The doors in the front and on the side are solid black doors. I thought I needed a secret knock and a password. Once you get in the main door, you're in what looks like a closet. My worries were over then; I could see people and food ahead. To your right was the bar with a selection of beers on tap. The dining room is just like you expect in a BBQ joint, no frills. The tables were covered with white butcher paper, and the food was served on metal trays. The food was wonderful. I had pulled pork (my favorite) and beef brisket. The brisket was cooked and carved perfectly. Their sauces complimented the meat well. One was sweet and smoky, the other spicy, but not hot. They have 3 large TVs featuring sports, and the background music was 80's rock (not too loud). I had a great visit, and the staff was pleasant and informative. Prices are moderate, and you get plenty of food.

I’ve been to this place a few times but never wrote the review for it. First of all, in this area, this is the best bbq spot. With that being said, the customer service upon entering the restaurant was sketchy at first but it got better as I stayed to order my food. I had to drive here to order because the phone never got answered nor did the online service work. I got the chicken sandwich, 1/2 chicken, fries, mac & cheese, and Cole slaw. The sandwich was good, the chicken was okay and the sides were decent. You can dine in if you want but at the time I went, they were really busy so the wait from what I seen was about 15 to 20 minutes. I don’t think they take reservations. I would say to go and visit the place for yourself. It is worth the drive if you’re in the area. I would not say drive from LA to come here when there are other spots along the way.

Driving by i stopped in after checking it out online, I spent $55 dollars on some bland garbage bbq that i ended up throwing in the trash. . . I dont know how this place is voted best bbq in SGV maybe its the ONLY bbq in sgv. the most bland flavorless majority fat bbq i have ever had in my life. nothing was good. not the pulled pork not the brisket definitly not the sausage or the potato salad or the slaw. it was all horrible and all went in the trash...

the smoked sausage was NOT SMOKED it was your basic hilshire farms smoked sausage that was grilled in a pan. flavorless and gross...

the brisket was flaborless all fat no smoke ring, mealy mushy and had zero flavor at all i took a bite and threw in trash...

the pulled pork was better than the brisket at least texture wize, it had sauce but again nothing had flavor no rub no injection no nothing the sauce was bland the pork was even more bland you tasted more bun than pork. no seasoning or flavor at all trash.....

The potato salad. omg i have had better potato salad from the grocery store deli it was like mashed potato no salt no pepper no flavor at all in the trash it went . honestly this place buys premade crap from sysco or some food vendor and resells it as their own . thats how bad it was .... same with the slaw just bland as can be no flavor probably comes in a 5 lb bag from a food vendor took one bite and threw that in the trash also...

how can anyone say this is good bbq, this is the most white wash bbq place on the planet anyone that likes this place has never had real bbq. the ambiance is nice, the little bar is nice, the country music is nice, it was clean and cozy, i had a beer while i waited, modelo was flat and tasted stale. honestly close to the worst if not the wort bbq i have ever had in decades. please do better no way you deserve best bbq in SGV what a joke... invest in some good rub, some salt some pepper some garlic your food is horrible....... you should be ashamed...

I would have to say this place is one of those "don't judge a book by its cover". Was in the area and found it on Yelp. Decided to come here based off the good reviews. After arriving, we were very skeptical as the exterior of the restaurant is, shall I say, not too appealing.

Well, after trying the food, WHO CARES!!!

I can't say that I've tried BBQ here and there and everywhere. But I do know good food when I try it. I ordered the Sampler platter, which came with Pulled Pork, Brisket, Spareribs, Chicken, Hot Links, and 2 sides. Knowing full well that I wouldn't be able to finish the meal, as warned by our waitress. The plan was to take the rest home for leftovers.

The food: Pulled Pork - This is by far the best Pulled Pork I've ever had. Juicy and smokey. Pure Pork Perfection 5 stars Brisket - The brisket was pull apart tender. Most of the brisket I've had before was rubbery. 5 stars Spareribs - I've had better. Not that theirs wasn't good. 3 stars Chicken - Saved for leftovers. Did not try. If I remember, I will update later. Hot Links - I love spicy food and I think I can really handle my spice. These had a kick which really surprised me. Forgot to ask if these were housemade. 5 stars Sides - Ordered 2 baked beans. Ate one there and saved the other to take home. These were on the sweet side. Not my cup of tea, but my cuz liked them. 3 stars

I would definitely come here again if ever in the area. The pulled pork was that damn good. I live too far away to be able to come on a regular basis. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who...
