Went here to buy a rack of ribs to bbq they had some in the case that were chopped in 3 pieces I wanted a full rack uncut so I asked if they had a full rack uncut he said yes he then went to fridge and got me one but as he was weighing and bagging the rack he started complaining about me in Spanish thinking I couldn’t understand He said (I can’t believe this foo it’s the same thing in the case and he is making me get another one from the fridge what an idiot) This is supposed to be a Mexican butcher shop They shouldn’t be mad if I asked for an uncut rack of ribs their prices were really high the rack came out to $25 for 1 which I didn’t mind paying to support a local business but the butchers were rude and disrespectful Just went to stater bros and got the same thing for half the price They ladies were nice in front so I took it up to the register and told her I forgot my wallet and left

This market is horrible! I asked the butcher if he could grind some fish for ceviche and he said the grinder was dirty so I had asked if he could cut it and he said he would have to charge me $1 more per pound! I have been here plenty of times and they’ve NEVER charged me more! I asked if this was their new policy and the he said yes, the price listed is for the meat the way it is. If the meat or fish is cut in any way they have to charge extra?? I’ve never heard of this. The butcher then proceeded to call someone to confirm, said three words back to whoever he was speaking to then said yes we have to charge extra.
