This review is being made on a Friday, 8/23/24 at 12:49pm. I literally JUST left Dairy Queen in Bainbridge, GA and to say the very least, I was COMPLETELY dissatisfied. I have come to this store on MULTIPLE occasions over the years and always pay for extra toppings and never seem to be able to get what I pay for. I even paid $15 in the past for extra toppings on an item just to see if they could get it right and they still couldn't seem to comprehend extra. Normally, I would not bring the item back, but today I just had to show them the clear visual error. Instead of the manager and owner trying to reason, what I got was a manager trying to tell me my order was correct and and an owner trying to back their manager for fixing a menu product WRONG. They didn't understand that extra meant extra and the owner didn't even thoroughly examine whether or not there were enough extra pecans in the product as requested. He came to the window with his mind already made up to back up his manager on duty who was defensive and confrontational through the speaker system already. So basically, in demeanor and so many words, he verbalized that my thoughts and feelings clearly didn't matter and that because he's the owner, that's it, I got what I paid for, now move on when I SURELY did not. He was also inconsiderate interrupting me as I was trying to speak and told me after I asked for a refund no can do point blank period because I got what I paid for, a straight unbelievable behavior and LIE. Being that I was seriously not about to argue with him over something so fixable, I decided to leave this review instead since he indicated corporate had no authority over him being that he is the owner. I truly pray this review is reflected upon by both the manager and owner of the Bainbridge Dairy Queen for improvement and growth purposes. After all, both are necessary skills to fine tune any leadership position in addition to problem solving and conflict. For others who visit this Dairy Queen, I pray that your experience is MUCH better than my own and that you get exactly what you deserve and your money pays for. Unfortunately, for me, I will no longer see this place as one of my most favorable locations to visit nearly as much or perhaps anymore period. I know we all make mistakes, so I completely forgive the error and attitudes. However, I did think it was necessary to note the overall experience, in particularly because of the rudeness and display of high-minded superiority with no ounce of care or consideration by the owner towards a long standing and loyal customer. This could certainly use some reflection from both them and me, for I am always trying to find ways to better handle things for the sake of on-going growth also. With this said, I do pray to never have to experience this inconsiderate, unpopular corporate method as a norm again, BUT should it happen to occur in the future when or if I ever return to the Dairy Queen in Bainbridge GA, I hope much more tact is used. ESPECIALLY, since this was a matter that could have very EASILY been taken care of and resolved in a more professionally manner...
Read moreLast night on 11-07-2024 at approximately 07:30 me and my family decided to eat here after my son's recreational football game. I placed an order for a four piece chicken-strip basket. Upon receiving my order i checked our food. I noticed that I had 3 strips and a piece of a strip that was shredded up. I took my order back up to the front counter to notify and show the front counter cashier, she observed my order and saw that it was incorrect so I tossed them in the trash and requested to have my order corrected. The cashier notified the manager about my order, the manager replied, "why did he do that?" and approached the front counter from the cooking area. Once the manager came to the front counter I explained to her what happened. The manager told me that since I threw my food away there was nothing she could do but give me the 1 strip that was missing. I repeatedly asked the manager to correct my entire order, she refused. So, after a while i asked for a refund the manager refused to give me a refund. I repeatedly asked for a refund. At this time I'm frustrated and start to raise my voice as I repeatedly ask for a correct order or refund. The manager then decided to call the police and said that "the police is on the way". Moments later the cops arrive and I explain to them what took place. The cops informed me that unfortunately there was nothing that they could do. I decided to leave the store with no food or refund. I will NEVER step foot in that...
Read more1 of the BEST establishments of its kind or any other for that matter in or around Bainbridge, Georgia. Thank You for showing me just how close we as humans can get to perfection!!In this world, nothing and no one is perfect, and some, well most, are content with that, but there are a few that have and will continue to strive to reach perfection. Along the way, there will be ups and downs well that's when the court of public opinion steps in. Whether they are or aren't completely correct with their complaint is relative, but ultimately it highlights a problem. When you doing something that's not right and no one corrects you you'll continue, it's human nature. Not telling someone no is just like telling them yes. About a month ago I wrote a review on this Dairy Queen that was harsh but noticed the service was degrading and this being one of my truly favorite restaurants I was offended so I lashed out. Well they didn't hunt me down like a few in town have, now they asked an acquaintance to have me contact them, what they did was take what I said to heart, look into it, and handle it, quickly I might add. Today was the 6th time I've been back and the SERVICE, FOOD, and ATMOSPHERE each time has been flawless and as close to perfect as humanly possible. Thank you, owners and staff, for renewing my confidence in every aspect of TRUE...
