Denise is amazing! I was clearly struggling trying to figure out the app as it was my first time there & i didn’t know to get a fire stamp, i had to scan the app at the register. Nobody& i mean.. nobody. Seemed to care or know about the app. 1 guy was scrambling on 1 register trying to help my boyfriend figure it out. Another guy just shook his head “no”. Which confused me.So i asked him “No you can’t apply the reward after? Or no you don’t know?” The answer was no he didn’t know.. (Not that i was even asking him..) our pizzas came out (slightly) burned &i think it was becuz that guy was too busy ear hustling us while trying to figure it all out at the register.
“180 seconds” means they should be paying attention to the pizzas in the oven AT ALL TIMES. for my food to be done so quick &then our hands to be so black after, is sad. We needed a lot of napkins just becuz of all the burned ashy crumbs. I wish he would have stayed on the pizzas and just let the cashier help us with the app
Denise took charge of the situation &opened another register &scanned our apps so we could keep moving. Which was GREAt !! Because she was cleaning the soda machine &overheard my concern. She even remembered my name (from helping make my pizza) & used it to get my attention to let me know she can help me with that. Of all 3 people by the register.. she just hopped over with a huge smile &took care of business. We were so happy with her both on the pizza line & off that we asked for her name so we could give a compliment.
This was our 1st time. Our feelings are very mixed. Although your toppings &pizzas ARE in fact better than PizzaRev, we were left with a VERY dissatisfied taste by the apparent supervisor/manager on duty (White Lady, glasses & a hat, on Saturday Nov 18th). There is a big difference in supervision and micromanaging. She needs to learn that
I specifically asked the guy (white guy, w/ hat i wish you guys had nametags..) who was saucing my pizza to put Xtra pesto (the prev person got regular pesto &i wanted more) like i literally said “i LOVE pesto! Please get crazy with it. Have at it, please put it on the crust too” the guy was cheerful & smiling. He said okay & he didn’t get crazy but he was putting the perfect amount of sauce. The manager lady had no idea what i asked for, as she was away doing something else when i asked. She jumped in line right after him on my pizza &she chewed him out (in front of a line full of customers) &told him it was too much sauce. He told her i asked for extra. She just told him to “start thinning that out”. What?I literally asked for it to be how he was pleasantly putting it on. I looked at him and said “Thank you for my extra sauce, i appreciate it”so she knew he wasnt lying. I DID ask for extra sauce. She did not need to chastise him in front of everyone i hope that’s not a regular thing.
Next, She put my cheese on my pizza.I’m sorry that i like mainly cheese &veggies but she didn’t have to do me like she did. She put the ricotta in huge globs. 3 of them to be exact. I asked for Gorgonzola & i barely got any. Mostly just mozzarella. That’s the only part she put on my pizza (the cheese)& it’s the only part i disliked. At least at PizzaRev they take the time to properly top my pizza evenly ¬ with attitude bcuz i chose a cheese that will dirty up your fingers. She was clearly irritated.I could tell by how she was acting. She was irritated that i wanted Gorgonzola after she put on the ricotta& i think that’s why i didn’t get much of the Gorgonzola just a bit in one spot.
The 1st Lady(with the accent)solely bcuz it was my 1st time, explained to me how to order. I already knew how to order. I feel like that is very time consuming, especially since she had to do it twice (for my BF too) She was great at it &did her job well! I wish i had her name but all we know is that she’s pretty & had an accent. I would recommend that you have that person ask if the customer is familiar w/ the ordering process? That way you don’t waste everyone else’s time holding up the line teaching them...
Read moreI was spending 5 nights at a hotel nearby with my family's, and the first night I ordered a pizza and cheese bread and had it delivered. I thought it was great it was the exact way I made my own. However, last night I decided I didn't want to be lazy and wait a long time for delivery so I'd just pick it up. Wrong move on my part because the kid that was preparing them and cooking them had a huge problem with either his job or his life. He started off slaming things around and making me feel like he hated his job and maybe his existence. By that comment I mean literally slamming on things like the ingredients compartment so hard everything fell inside the inner refrigerator.I held my composure because the pizza was for my wife and daughter. After he kept calling me bro and just acting like there was a problem, I waited patiently and left. I get to the hotel and serve my daughter, and the first thing she says is daddy it's gross (she's 3) I take a slice and try it and it way under cooked and sauced way too much. Nothing like my first experience. I was frustrated, so I took it back and got my money back. I shutdown I admit, because it was getting late and my girls were starving. The manager was helpful and very polite. She gave me back my money in cash even though I didn't have my receipt and the card I used due to me being upset that I had to go back. Due to this experience, I don't recommend and will never go back. She did apologize and even though it was not her fault I still felt unsatisfied, (but to be fair even if she gave me my money back and re made it I was upset I had to go back) because the phone number was disconnected. I was even more upset that it was 110 degrees out, too, to be fair. I hope they retrain the immature little boy that served me and hope one day he don't meet the one to follow him home for being a sad unhappy pizza boy and wants to teach that hard work and dedication can get you somewhere and you don't have to be...
Read moreThe pizza is decent. The people making the pizza are friendly. The management is terrible. They refused to take my order since I didn't have a mask so I had to order it on the curb through their app...which I did. They didn't make my pizza right and they said that they routinely have problems with app orders BUT they cannot refund me the money nor can they make me a replacement pizza. Instead...they say I need to go back out side, use the app to order another pizza at full price and try it again. This whole time I am talking to the front line workers as the manager refuses to talk to me. I finally said I want a refund, not because the pizza was made wrong but because I do not like the way it tastes which is a valid reason why they would take the pizza back. They still cant make me a free replacement but they said I should see a refund in 2 or 3 days. I found a mask in my car so I was able to go inside and order a pizza, at full price, and that pizza was...okay. I am sure the bitter service affected the taste of the pizza. To be clear, I only took 1 bit of the pizza and had my hungry little 6 year old waiting for all of this drama to pass so we could eat. Would I go again??? Maybe if someone else really wanted to go there I would tag along.
Oh...I did go with a friend who had a great coupon on the app but the pizza worker cleared the app screen before the coupon code could be scanned. They apologized and said there is nothing they could do about it since the coupon code is now gone. The workers have zero authority to do anything except put cheese on dough. At the very least a free drink would have been a decent apology as it was an excellent coupon (something like a $20 pizza for $2) that the employee saw, acknowledged, was familiar with, then cleared it out too soon.
Maybe I would only go back if someone...
